Could be a great storyline... anyone with me? Who cares if EJ turns out not to be a Dimera. It doesnt take back all the nasty things he's done. A name is only that and just because it would change from Dimera to whatever else all the people who died or got hurt from him wont make them come back or not be effected by his actions. Do you think a woman would be that shallow and drop all her emotions just because of a name change. I think not. |

BUT in Marlena's case Roman came back and her love for John was stronger and deeper than her love for Roman. Lastly John was bad news even before being brainwashed by Stefano. Respectfully, who are we without our memories...Memories make us who we are...John Black was noone..he was mindless and souless before Marlena did the therapy with him and discovered his "Roman" memories. He was who he was programmed to be and that was Roman and that is who Marlena fell for so his body was not Roman Brady's but everything else was and that is why Marlena fell for him. She fell for the Brady inside of him..inside his heart and mind. He certainly wasn't programmed to be a Dimera..if he were, who knows where these storys would be...but when John played Dimera last year..Marlena didn't want to love him and tried to leave him, but she couldn't give up on John...the real John who has a Brady heart and a Brady mind..that has always been true. finding out he is really a Brady is just icing on the cake and I am sure the family John is proud to have. Marlena had a connection to John early on which is why she took on his case anyway. She felt as if she knew him or had known him before. But since that was not the case there was soemthing else there that gave Marlena a spark...because as you say and all what is a person without their memories. SOMETHING was there and Marlena felt it and acted on it! Then John had memories (brainwashed) of being Roman. But had Marlena and John for that manner not had a connection then none of the other stuff would have even happened. I do agree Wayne Northop and Deidre were hot but Jarlena is my fav! |

Although this is a good idea for a story line, if they turn EJ into a nice guy the story will flatline as it did when they tried that with Tony. as much as I like Stefano, the way the vets are getting cut so they're gonna need a younger fresher face to fill in the villian role.

Apparently I'm way off as to Jarlean history... hahaha. But I do think that EJ is a DiMera through and through, and that's how I prefer him. The DiMera/Brady forbidden love storylines, both past - Santo & Colleen, and present - EJ & Sami, do it for me.

Do you think a woman would be that shallow and drop all her emotions just because of a name change. I think not. Exxxactly. Sami fell hard for EJ before learning he was a DiMera, & as much as she hates it, those feelings didn't go away after learning who EJ's daddy is. She has a whole list of reasons not to be with him...'DiMera' being at the top of that list, but they just keep finding themselves all up in each other's business. I never mentioned love or happiness. I meant hatred and all those other negitive emotions. You should know by now nothing good ever entered my head when i answered this post.

Everyone THOUGHT he was but in fact he had been BRAINWASHED to think he was! We both agree on the fact he was brainwashed to think he was a BRADY (right). BUT in fact he was NOT! So if you know he was brainwwashed to THINK he was an actual Brady how could he be a BRADY from the get go? HE CAN'T! Respectfully, who are we without our memories...Memories make us who we are...John Black was noone..he was mindless and souless before Marlena did the therapy with him and discovered his "Roman" memories. He was who he was programmed to be and that was Roman and that is who Marlena fell for so his body was not Roman Brady's but everything else was and that is why Marlena fell for him. She fell for the Brady inside of him..inside his heart and mind. He certainly wasn't programmed to be a Dimera..if he were, who knows where these storys would be...but when John played Dimera last year..Marlena didn't want to love him and tried to leave him, but she couldn't give up on John...the real John who has a Brady heart and a Brady mind..that has always been true. finding out he is really a Brady is just icing on the cake and I am sure the family John is proud to have. Marlena had a connection to John early on which is why she took on his case anyway. She felt as if she knew him or had known him before. But since that was not the case there was soemthing else there that gave Marlena a spark...because as you say and all what is a person without their memories. SOMETHING was there and Marlena felt it and acted on it! Then John had memories (brainwashed) of being Roman. But had Marlena and John for that manner not had a connection then none of the other stuff would have even happened. I do agree Wayne Northop and Deidre were hot but Jarlena is my fav! I think that connection was there because he was supposed to be Roman and history was re-written when Wayne came back briefly. Anyway, connection or not, she didn't love him until she realized that he was Roman. The man she fell in love with was programmed to be Roman Brady..she fell in love with a man she thought was her dead husband..not John Black, not Ryan Brady and certainly not a Dimera. Ok, I'm done..I have proven my point over and over It was fun, but I'm movin on Sorry yet again no point proven in fact you have made my point repeatedely! IF you say she fell in love with John becuase she thought he was Roman then why when the real roman came back leave him for John? If it was all about about Roman anyway.
