They have not said who his parents are that I know of. I know the thing is right now is he is Melissa and Pete's son. So If he was why don't he have Pete's last name and not be a Horton? So I was thinking that Sarah is Nate's mom and not Melissa. If i remember right Sarah left with Melissa and Pete too go too Nashville too get away form Maggie. After she kept that Neil was her real dad. So maybe she never married and had Nate out of a affair are something. Would be great way too bring in Sarah back and give us some more Horton women. Just a thought but what does everyone else think???

I would love it, love it, love it!! There are too few Hortons left. They ALL need to come home. They need to give Micky and Maggie a storyline instead of running a boarding house. Why not have Mickey run for DA or something and then he could work with the Bradys and Abe to rid Salem of the evil Demerias!!!

Pete and Melissa were not together when they left Salem. They were divorced. This could be why Nathan's name is Horton instead of Jannings. I am wondering if Pete even knows about him.
