You guys still think Rafe is undercover? I beginning to think not b/c of him telling Sami he lied to his boss on his first job then turned down the NY job for her b/c he loved her. So that makes me wonder.

And another thing what ever happened
to Bo going to get all on Rafe (or something to the like). The only thing I've saw so far is a lil bit of a glare, which that wasn't what the spoilers were saying so that can't be all it was?

Undercover for who? the Dimera's God I hope not, this character has potential, please don't let him turn into a bad guy

I don't think he is undercover for the Dimeras--- more than likely, his construction job is a front for either the FBI, ISA, etc. ITA, his character has a lot of potential- don't think they will make him into a bad guy.

I don't think he is undercover for the Dimeras--- more than likely, his construction job is a front for either the FBI, ISA, etc. ITA, his character has a lot of potential- don't think they will make him into a bad guy.


I also think the construction gig was undercover job...I thought he might be undercover for FBI, maybe even Salem PD. Roman was pretty upset Rafe and Sami did not tell him about Grace. He was especially upset with Rafe. I was waiting to see Bo give Rafe an earfull, but nothing...What happened? I thought this would confirm or give hints about his undercover work.

Come on Jenn, if looks weren't enough...LOL But really I think they're planning some big history with him, just give it some time Jenn they gotta build this guy a whole life being he's not been on even a year and is a totally new character to Days. Lots to work around when you got all those Bradys, Hortons, etc. Too many of them for me to keep up with...LOL

I just do not see it as far as looks.. Ej, Phillip now that is HOT to me... but when Ej came I was instantly intrigued as far as Rafe I am bored.. I hope he has a ridged past because then I would be interested!

Maybe the day of Bo telling Rafe off is still on, just hasn't happened yet.

I agree. The character of Rafe is just getting started. We haven't found out about his past yet-- we don't know his life history or really much about him at all. I think his history has to do some with his childhood and what happened to him at that point. He seems to want to protect women in the worst way and I figure that has something to do with his history.

Hey Magic, just thinking about what you stated. I was under the impression that Rafe was orphaned and raised by the Sisters, but now there's Arianna. Do you think they both were left at the convent? Then, he spoke about his mother and her cooking...remember when he cooked Sami those Christmas tamalas (sp)?

I don't know exactly but as I recall he didn't goto the nuns until he was in his teens. So I suppose since that's all she ever taught him to cook then her time with him wasn't very long lived. Perhaps his mother was killed? hmmm
As for Ari, IDK if it was ever mentioned her being with the nuns or if they had other siblings.

If he was orphaned, i am thinking it was when he was a teen, not a young child. I remember Agnes saying that he was a troubled teen and through their intervention and her help, he turned his life around. So, I am thinking,too, that maybe something happened to his mother. Ari says in an interview, that she is so protective of Rafe because of something that happened when they were children. He must have learned to cook before he went to the convent. The nuns never mentioned Ari before, so I am not sure if she was at the convent or not.

I was thinking about his mother being killed or even raped. He does seem to have an issue with wanting to protect women. Ari has even said he has done a lot for her, so I am thinking something traumatic happened when they were kids that has really affected his life. Maybe that is why he joined the FBI.

Rafe being undercover for the ISA, FBI, SPD would be a lot more interesting than if he was hired by the Dimeras.
