It would make me so sick at heart that I most likely would quit watching Days. |

Quote AlaNurse: It would make me so sick at heart that I most likely would quit watching Days. Lol AlaNurse, if they don't put them together I'll quit the show or else I'll end up dying from terminal boredom. They are the only reason I watch the show now and if they aren't the endgame, then Days and I will be breaking up for good! And like you, nothing or no-one will change my mind. Damn, one of us is going to be disappointed |

Quote AlaNurse: It would make me so sick at heart that I most likely would quit watching Days. Amen to that. I feel the same way. I know it is a SOAP and all, but there are some issues which cannot be forgotten in my mind, anyway. Those two together as a romantic couple--- no way. |

They just don't have as much of an impact as a couple as when they are mad at each other. I much rather see them as rivals, much more interesting that way! |

I was glad Passions was going to end, because I just couldn't quit watching and when it did I was so happy. Now.....if they put EJ and Sami together....I'm outta here. |

I know it really sunk General Hospital's ratings when they paired Luke & Laura Threatening the writers really is of no effect. Many posters claimed they would be done w/the show if the writers wrote Alison Sweeney's pregnancy into the show, meaning Sami would be pregnant w/EJ's child...and those folks are still here posting & complaining about the show they swore they would quit watching. The thing w/Sami & EJ is that when they're on together, people watch. They may have different reasons for watching (they love Ejami, they despise EJ, they're cool w/waiting another decade for a shot at Lumi, etc.) but Sami & EJ sharing the screen has been a ratings booster the past few years as evidenced by the amount of screen time these two continue to receive. |

Quote AlaNurse: It would make me so sick at heart that I most likely would quit watching Days. I feel the opposite. In this instance, I'm willing to accept what the writers did in 2008 to undo what had been done under headwriter Hogan Sheffer in late 2006. I feel like a lot of people thought Sheffer should have never had the character of EJ go that far over the line and my feeling is that the writers attempted to rectify it after Sheffer left when they penned Sami and EJ's talk in May of 2008. I know a lot of DAYS fans don't accept that or agree with it or can't get past what the character of EJ did under past writers. That's OK and people shouldn't change their minds if that's how they feel about the writers' decisions. But for me, I'm OK with what the writers have done. I prefer EJ with serious internal conflict about who he is rather than have him be full on evil like his Fatha. And I like Sami and EJ as two not-so-innocent people getting together and having a very complicated relationship. |
