Let's just say "IF" the writers/producers put Sami with EJ.......what would your feelings be toward that?????

Many posters claimed they would be done w/the show if the writers wrote Alison Sweeney's pregnancy into the show, meaning Sami would be pregnant w/EJ's child...and those folks are still here posting & complaining about the show they swore they would quit watching.

The thing w/Sami & EJ is that when they're on together, people watch. They may have different reasons for watching (they love Ejami, they despise EJ, they're cool w/waiting another decade for a shot at Lumi, etc.) but Sami & EJ sharing the screen has been a ratings booster the past few years as evidenced by the amount of screen time these two continue to receive.

EJ i'm curious....i know i've heard you say that the ratings always go up when EJ & Sami are on screen....can you send me a link to that site? I have no idea where those ratings are shown and just for $hits and giggles i'd like to check them out when something is coming up that i like.....example: Safe scenes etc



The ratings I see are posted on an Ejami fan site I visit. I can't post a link here of course, but it rhymes w/ Yummy Glove

A kind poster at that site copies from another site that shows daily ratings & compares the numbers to the ratings for the show at the same time the week before & also at the same time the year before. Whoever puts it together does some serious work.

Like I said, some people watch Sami & EJ b/c they despise EJ & they want to see him & Sami fight, so I am not claiming ratings go up b/c everyone loves Ejami as a couple, but considering the screen time James Scott has been given lately, the writers know people are watching him, & even more so when he shares the screen w/Sami.

Editing to add - the original source of the ratings is Soap Opera Network; I won't post the link but that's the source. The most recent ratings I've seen are from week June 1-5.

And yes I miss Adam Tuesday is the pits now!

I would agree alot of ppl like Ej n Sami but more as rivals just like the old Days, Dimera vs Brady. They watch but not b/c they like them as a couple but b/c the love them to hate each other. No doubt Safe is gonna end up being endgame here.

I would be so happy i would jumping for joy Safe to me are mega boring everytime they are on i change channel there is nothing to like about them Rafe will never be EJ to me. EJ is the man love that guy he is so cool and i love his accent and he does turn Sami on she is still hot for his body even though she is with Rafe.

I watch for Ejami i hope Dena keeps her promise and gives up the best romantic storyline ever with EJ and Sami as the leading couple they belong just like Santo and Colleen did.

I have a question regarding your comment above. Actually any of ejami's could answer. If Sami is/was so hot for EJ's body, then why didn't she have sex with him after he forced her to divorce Lucus and to marry him??? Why did she refuse to sleep in the same bed with him?? Why did she refuse him for months, or ever how long it was they were married before she finally agreed to have sex with EJ the one and only time during their "marriage" ( forced to marry him to end the vendetta (sp.) Some "marriage" huh??? And you say she was so hot for EJ's body.........When did Sami say that, because I missed it if she did. If a woman is HOT for her man, she WILL have sex with him. She hadn't had sex since she had last been with Lucus. She got horney. That is all it was or she would have been with him over and over. I love Sami & EJ together. Sorry if I'm in the minority on this site, but it's just a soap and this couple makes you feel that they truly belong together, even though they've both had their evil moments. Everyone is upset at what EJ has done to Sami or her family and no one believes that they should be together. I think its just as believable as Marlena's possession by the devil or that Nicole could fake a pregnancy with a rubber belly. Sami and EJ are hot together, but guess the writers feel they have more to work with when they are at odds. I quit watching when they paired EJ with Nicole. I only read the boards to see if anything has changed and I do occasionally watch parts of an episode on Utube. SAFE is so boring............

This is the next super couple and we need to get the party started!! Why would they not be together. They belong together and yes they have come along way and it would only be that EJ has to get SAMI back! Once it comes out about Nicole and Stefano it will be history. EJ will realize that SAMI was right, their enemies including his father would stop at nothing, so this would be fabulous if he could have been doing this to take entire control. Get his love of his life back and all their children. They belong together, and I could just see that he says " Can't you see darling I did all this for you, for us!" Yes, this is the man that belongs with SAMI.

Rafe belongs on Passions where he had the chemistry with Sheridan, but he does not have it with SAMI. The fire signs are SAMI and EJ, and you can see it in their facial expressions. It is smoking, they are so hot together. Nicole does not have that same chemistry with EJ and it probably has so much to do with how we got this far watching them. They are the hot couple.
Put them back together already.

Yes, I know that our threats to quit watching have no bearing on what the writers do. I think that they could make all of us happy at least part of the time,(and they do in a way.) I remember waaaay back when Sami was forcing Austin to marry her in ??France? I was soooo against her doing that and said to myself, IF SHE GETS HIM TO MARRY HER I WILL QUIT WATCHING.....but guess what? I didn't quit, and got to see him get wise to her and then I was happy. I know, we do get all worked up when our favorite s/l goes south.

I think that EJ and Sami are better off as frienemies. There chemistry is only off the charts when they are mad as hell at each other, but with that undertone of respect/love (which ever you want to call it).
I personally like Rafe and Sami together. He is the first man to really stand up for her with no strings (well at least that we don't know of yet )
Beside we all know that Sami won't be with EJ unless Stefano is dead, and we all know he can't die.

Great post. ITA and have wondered about a lot of this myself. I don't deny that there is attraction between EJ and Sami, but I don't believe that Sami does or ever has loved EJ; however, I think he has loved her. For them to be a viable couple, IMO, Sami and EJ have to be in love with each other, not just have had hot sex one time. I also believe that their chemistry is better as rivals-- Brady vs. Dimera, than a couple. After all that has happened, IMO, it's not believable anymore.

They just don't have as much of an impact as a couple as when they are mad at each other. I much rather see them as rivals, much more interesting that way!


ME too ME too. IMO they are boring together and they make the show more interesting when they are plotting against the other. Besides, would her father actually let her get involved with him again? I think not

Yes! I feel exactly the same. I threw up every time they kissed! I had to keep a bucket near my couch! GO SAFE!!!
