well ej served the papers yesterday and to no ones shock. i remember nicole learning about ej's plan to take johnny and she said that sami really would be in hell. i think that this really starts the motors turning in her head that she better be careful and makes her feel some sympathy for sami because it could be her. she later on in that episode said that she was happy the three of them were a family and that ej had them (nicole, sydney, ej) but what about johnny? she never includes him in any of the family conversations. i think she doesn't want johnny around because he reminds ej of sami, he is a connection between the two of them. that may be part of the reason she betrays ej to help sami (and her "guilt").

When all is said and done, EJ will remember Johnny being left out of Nicole's family litany(several times), and it will come back to bite her in the He will know she never wanted to be a good step-mother to Johnny, and he won't stand for her making a difference in his children.
