Just one more instance of bad writing. Oh, you silly, silly writers. Or maybe Days was trying to save money... too much had to be shelled out for all the other actors?

So true Lummi!! These writers are seriously starting to P** me off! Lucas would have been there! Bottom line! If I didn't love this show so much I'd stop watching! These writers need to pull their fingers out and remember what show they are writing for!!

Today Lucas told Will him and Sami discussed that it would be best if he didn't go to the funeral (Which i don't understand why). I agree that Lucas needs a storyline that we can get into. First, dump Chloe's ass. The writers need to get a move on that. Rafe is so boring. Ej and Sami...forever interesting! The only storyline that is remotely interesting is the Ej and Sami story. Please give Lucas something to go with. He is an awesome guy, but needs a back bone!!!!!!

I think it was best that Lucas did not go. It would have caused Chloe to get all stupid, and Lucas did not need to be there to irritate EJ further; especially when he finds out that Lucas knew all along and supported Sami in her decision not to tell EJ about his daughter.

Lucas is trying to be supportive of Sami without getting in the middle of her "dramas."

I don't like the writing either, and believe Lucas would have been there regardless; just like John and Marlena would have been there....

I guess, I did miss a few things on todays show. Grandsons, you got to love them. LOL. He was aggravating me to death about going swimming. Running in and out all day letting flies in. I kept telling him once my show was off, so he starts watching the show. He realizes, that it`s a babies funeral going on, and took one look at Ej`s face, and thought he killed the baby. Was he upset, then I explained it to him. But Ej`s look did look like he could kill someone, I guess to a nine year old little boy that didn`t know what was going on.LOL. I sure didn`t hear them say anything about a babysitter, thanks for letting me know. I just sort of figured Lucas was watching her. If it had been me, and I was Sami, my two little ones would have been on my lap. That`s just me though, the closer to my heart the better. These writers, are indeed a joke. Thanks everyone for clearing it up. Blin.

Because the electricity was off, I missed today's show. However I did read the reviews and did note that Lucas was not there. I feel the anger that Lumi and Brian fans feel but maybe there is a reason that the writers are delaying Rafe and Lucas having a face to face encounter. Have any idea why.
Sami did have a baby sitter for Johnnie and promised him to spend the afternoon with him and Ali.
The writers have been giving Lucas's character such a bad storyline. He is just as hot as EJ or Rafe and deserves to be seen more and his true character needs to be restored including his passion for Sami.

IA with all that said lucas should have been there, it makes no sense for him not to be there, even though I am not a lumi fan, he and Sami have a long history.
Plus WHY was Philip there over Lucas????? What was with him and Steph being there, Philip was never a big fan of Sami so what was with that?

I would love move than anything for the writers to have Sammi and Lucas get the news that Stephano messed with the dna results and revile that Johnny is actually their son together around the time the truth finally comes out about Chloe. Both of these storylines are becoming way too old and the writers need to be putting them to rest. Have the truth come out then start out on some new storylines.

Lucas not being there for Sami was very poor writing. He should of been there to support Sami and Will and Allie. These writers make me so angry.

Where was Chelsea and Max? No calls from Mommy Dearest or John to EJ? Where was Eric? A wedding or a funeral are two things that usually brings families together.

when I watched today's episode, Lucas told Will that Sami thought it best that he not be there..the only reason I can see is that Lucas also knew the truth and if/when Ej attacked Sami, Lucas would have stood up to him and it would have come out that Lucas knew..then he would be on Ej's list as well. Sami was trying to protect Lucas, IMO.
