Days of Our Lives - MESSAGE BOARDS

Melanie is one of the most pathetic characters I have ever seen, on any soap, and I'm watching them since 1969. Between her big yapper, nicoles lying through her teeth, and Sami's constant whining (even before Grace's death), they have set women back 50 years, I swear. They have no self respect, it's just disgusting. Melanie needs to be thrown into the water to drown somewhere, I purposely dvr this soap so I can ff at leat 90% of it. These women on here are just sickening.

I actually like Melanie. Actually a lot more than some of the other characters that I don't wish to name.

I have to say I like Melanie also. She is the typical young person, (selfish, self-absorbed, yet willing to help if you can get their minds off themselves). She gives the show a lift and takes some of the seriousness away from being too much. Glad she is staying in Salem. Suggest you keep ff when she comes on if she bothers you that much.

I haven't liked her since the 1st time I saw her when she was in France. Didn't like her then&don't like her now.

Not me! I love Melanie. I didn't like her in the beginning but I adore her now. I think she shakes things up and adds some comic relief. She's just a doll.

ditto for me , didn't like the way they brought her character on, but really like her now. It seems the character and the actress have grown.
I met Molly when she first came on the show and you could tell how green she was to it all. I think this is her first acting job and I she is finding her acting chomps as time goes on.

Long live the character of Melanie.

I have always liked Melanie from the beginning. I think her character started out alot like Chelsea and Chelsea was one of my faviorts. Molly is a very talanted young actress, doing a great job!

I didn't like Melanie at first...but now I have started likeing her. She is totally unique with her come-backs and facial expressions, and jestures. I'd like to see her pared with Nathan (new intern).

I have to admit I like Mel too. She is totally digging on Nathan. Cute.

I actually like her more than Stephanie. Her character is written well and she plays it well. i want to see her and brady together though

Well I Like her. But I tend to like characters that are a lil bad. It hink it makes them more interesting and gives them a little depth. Plus makes them more entertaining to watch. I am for instance not a fan of Abe, Roman, Marlena, you get the jist.

I think Melanie is great. She's very real and easy to relate to. She's flawed and it makes her rather endearing.

Molly Burnett is probably one of the better actresses they have on the show. She plays the character perfectly.
