safe love declaration...?

safe love declaration...?

j+sforever

i thought the declaration of love was dull. i didn't really feel the passion of two people deeply in love. hurt yes. reaching for someone yes. trying to erase old wounds by being with each other yes. two friends who share a deep bond yes. did it make me want to watch them as a couple a resounding no!

did anyone notice sami's eyes when they focused in on them, after they declared "love", her eyes did not have the look of love but the look of someone in deep pain, someone who needs someone because of said pain not out of true love. while rafe's eyes sparkled with love for her. i know samil just lost everything but i think the look said it all for me.

also, when rafe started listing all the things he had done and given up for her, i thought is he trying emotionally blackmail her? i kind of got that feeling. he did recover it but still... he should have just said he loved her and wanted to take care of her and that he would understand if she needed space.

i posted a topic yesterday about clues and symbles leading to and e/s reunion and nicole down fall so here is another clue.

without baby will they make it?

Yeah Grace dying while Sami & EJ's child lives is quite the signpost to Ejami, as is the Safe love declaration happening almost at the moment EJ is renouncing his love for Sami to Nicole (basically saying what Nicole already knows, that he's loved Sami all this time).

Sami needed Rafe to keep her secret & that's all shot to hell now. Rafe knew what was bonding them...that's why he wanted to adopt her.

Whoa-- time out. This is not the first time that either Sami or Rafe have declared their love for each other. On the first night before they even made love, Rafe told her that he loved everything about her, he cherished every inch of her, and that nothing would make him happier, than letting him share her life with him. Although the the words, I love you, were not actually said, they were said in another way. Also, Sami already told Rafe she loved him when she was on the phone with him and he had another call. She said "I love you", but he didn't hear it because he had already switched over to the other call about his job. So, I don't think just saying the actual words yesterday were just because of Grace's death. Her death has brought them closer together-- they need each other to survive this tragedy and he loves her other kids, too. He will, I am sure, try to talk to Will about coming home to his mom and help her get Johnny back.

IMO when Rafe was telling her about what he did for her, he was telling her that he was willing to give up anything for her-- even his career because he fell in love with her, not just because of Grace. He has told her before that as long as he has her in his life, he will be happy.

When Sami said, "I love you so much, Rafe", I saw a woman who was definitely in love and he with her. They both were crying and so happy. i am sure she is still in pain, but now she knows that even tho she tried to tell him to leave and push him away, like she says she always tries to do with the people she cares the most about, he is not going anywhere. He is going to be there for her b/c he loves her, no matter what.

i am not saying that this was the only time they said i love you, but they have been in an intense scheme and they are both hiding from the realities of life. they are reaching out to ease old wounds/hurts by "loving" each other. this is common for people to cling to someone when they have nothing left, but it soon starts to unravel as the baby is not there to bond them anymore. this is a classic soap opera trick.

I think yesterdays scene between Sami and Rafe was to clear up any misunderstandings. We (the viewers) were lead to believe that Rafe was around becasue his interest was Grace. I mean didn't we all question why he would want to adopt Grace and not marry Sami? (Well I think it was the writers way to have a legit excuse for EJ to go after Rafe but anyhow..)The writers wanted us to specultate if Rafe and Sami would stay together after Grace's death. Yesterdays scene clarifys Rafe's interst in Sami and the love they BOTH have for eachother. JMO.

we all know he loved? sami and he loved? grace. we all get that there was no need to clear it up. the reason i put ? marks was because who ever was in his past maybe the reason he is so driven to love them and need them. it may be that his love was not a true one. that is not to say he did not love/care for them it just means his emotions may be tainted by his past. same goes for sami.

Pfft! Sami n Rafe loved each other b4 any baby ever came in it. It was so in your face how much they loved each other. The real soap trick here is where they always put in some tragic event to cause some trouble to this perfect couple and then bam! they are back together stronger than ever. That is how the safe story goes.
Ej is like his pops he wants to hold Sami captive like Stefano did with MarMar. Ej is like weirdo obsessed with Sami.

safe is boring and maybe rafe is a weirdo obsessed with having what he had in the past with someone else. also, they didn't really come together until he showed up in salem and before that their was caring but she was still upset about the whole ej situation and wanting to be a family but worried about stepfano and nicole.

So you think he seems needy? IMO, I think he fell in love with Sami back in WPP. She on the other hand, might have HAD lingering feelings for EJ. But it seems that for now (cuz this is soapland)she loves Rafe. We will see what his past has and personally I think the new character Merideth, is not an actual past love interest because I choose to believe Stefano and Nicole are not DUMB enough to bring a love interst in for Rafe and risk an EJAMI reunion when they have tried to keep EJOLE with Sydney....you know what I mean? What do you think?

Coming together and loving somebody has nothing to do with it. They loved each other in the witness program. It was way to obvious. She is over Ej. Ej might linger on b/c he is like Stefano, it runs in the family the whole obsession thing. Sure Rafe is gonna have a past but he was an FBI agent so it can't be all that bad. Could anything be crazier than the things Ej has done. I mean really, anything?

i am sorry but safe love is boring if you want days to stay on tv you need a super couple that inbodies all soaps have to offer and that is ejamie. e/s have limitless stories and safe just doesn't. there passion will not make people stay with the show or inspire people to watch.

LMAO...SAFE is the "supercouple". The only story Ej and Sami have that is worth watching is when they are fighting. You see SOD, believe that's Rafe Sami is clinging to. And to say Safe has no story that could be the Ejami goggles you got on...LMAO

safe will not last. there is no real story after baby storylines end. and what ever is in his past will put an end to safe as well. it must be big because they have hinted at it for weeks and arianna is worried about him.

Perhaps Rafe is boring to alot of ppl because he's not animal like when it comes to love making, but rather slow, and passionatebut that's what makes him so unique. it also makes his love for Sammi seem more believable. any man that takes his time to both please and savor a woman makes for a better standing relationship.
