I can't watch now because of the digital switch over!!! HELP!

>( Well I don't have cable in my office and I work all day so now I can't watch any longer because I just have a cheap little TV here to catch my Soap. Shoot the coverter box costs more then the TV. So I guess my days are over, I work all day and they don't have Days on the Soap network at night that I know of, does anyone have any information so I can catch the show at night anywhere? No more free TV, what is this world coming to? Help |

I understand your frustration. I do think that Soap Net carries DOOL but it is like an 11:00 pm time slot. |

I rely on this site and a couple of others to at least keep up on what is happening. Yes soapnet does carry DOOL. I don`t know what time zone you live in but it is on here at 10:00am in the morning, 11:00 at night, except for Thursday night, then it is on at 4:00 in the morning. Also 4:00 in the morning on other mornings, except Saturdays and Sundays. I have a satelite, and just push the guide button on, and the side arrow button, to see what time everything is on. Hope this helps you. Blin.

I hate to make a suggestion that cost money but i swear the dvr is so well worth the $15 a month. I cant watch during the week either so i tape it and watch when i get home. I love that thing. |

you can get a coupon for a converter on the goverment website its for $40 bucks and a converter at walmart is 40.01...so it will cost a penny for days well worth it!!! |

I just want to say thank you to everyone. I just got my coupon in the mail for the box so I will be going to Walmart. I also want the DVR but my husband is down to 20 hours a week so I am holding the family together with my job right now, so as soon as things break loose again I am going to look into the DVR all my friends love it too. Well thanks again, and hopefully soon this baby switch will break loose and we can see our Sami in action! Have a good one. |

I swear by my DVR...we are thinking about getting a second one so that my husband and I can record DOOL, and then the kids the can have one to record whatever they want...now that they are home during the summer, I don't want to take the chances of my daughter forgetting that DOOL is recording and have her record one of her annoying Lifetime movies...lol. I do know that Soap Net airs DOOL @ 11pm eastern, except on Thursdays, you then have to catch Thursdays episode @ 4am Friday. They also do a marathon of the weeks episodes on Sunday, and I think DOOL's marathon starts at like Midnight... |

I have the same situation. No more TV due to DTV. I live in an area with no reception. I tried YouTube, but it didn't have today's episode. |

They also do a marathon of the weeks episodes on Sunday, and I think DOOL's marathon starts at like Midnight... yep the dvr is AWESOME!!!! we had a regular satellite dvr and then when we moved we couldn't get satellite reception here cause of the trees in the way...lol...so we had to go with the regular digital cable...but the company took our old regular satellite dvr, and gave us for no extra charge a HD dvr. it's so much better!!!! i don't have a HD tv, but with the HD dvr, you can record TWO shows at the same time. OR one show and still watch regular live television...if you're recording 2 shows, it has to stay on one of the channels it is recording, OR watch something that you've already recorded.. with the regular dvr we had, you could only tape one show and you couldn't watch any other channel while recording. i LOVE the HD dvr!!!! |

I don't kow how your digital converter box will do, but when I hooked up mine it won't tape at all. Luckily, I left one tv without a box(just hooked up to basic cable), so I can tape DOOL every day. With the box I got snowy static all the way through. |

Check the times for your area , but you can figure by the time zone now that I gave you PCT. (Pacific coast time) Best bet is youtube when you don't have the tele. but they do not post up that quickly at times. |
