BIOGRAPHY

Kevin Dobson was born in New York. He worked as a trainman, brakeman and conductor for the Long Island Railroad before he attended New York University to study acting. He made his foray into acting on television roles such as "The Mod Squad" and "Kojak". He also became close friends with Telly Savalas during the years of the show and the two remained friends until Savalas's death. He was best known for his role of Patrick "Mack" MacKenzie on the now defunct, "Knots Landing".

Once a soldier himself, Dobson has lent himself to veteran's organizations and has served twice as Chairman of The National Salute to Hospitalized Veterans. He also dabbled in stage, playing in the production of "12 Angry Men" at the Orange County Performing Arts Center in Costa Mesa California.
