BIOGRAPHY

James Reynolds, a native of Oskaloosa, Kansas, in high school he was active in sports, playing football basketball and track, in addition to performing in school plays. Following graduation from high school, Reynolds joined the Marines. During his first station, he became a reporter for the service newspaper, The Windward Marine. He was later sent to Vietnam, serving for almost a year with a variety of units, adding battlefield reporting to his combat duties, until a wound resulted in his discharge.

Having studied journalism in college, Reynolds spent time as a film reviewer for the Topeka Daily Capitol. His duties included interviewing quite a few celebrities, including Michael Douglas, Madeline Kahn, Ann-Margaret and Peter Fonda.

Reynolds enjoys spending time with his family and playing basketball and racquetball. He and his wife, Lissa, live near Los Angeles, with their son Jed.
