BIOGRAPHY

Frank Parker was born and raised in both Lansdown and Darby, which are small towns outside of Philadelphia. He lived in upstate New York with his grandparents, in the Adirondacks as a small child. It was here where he learned to love the outdoors. Throughout his childhood and adolescence, Parker attended many different schools. Upon graduation from high school he worked in a box factory, taking on many different vocations in the plant. Parker went back to school, auditioning for Carnegie Tech, where he majored in theatre arts. After graduation Parker moved to Los Angeles where he drove taxi and tended bar until he landed a few small parts leading him to his big break on General Hospital and he landed a role as 'Paddy Kelly', an old Irishman. That role led to his still-present role of patriarch Shawn Brady on Days of Our Lives.

Since the passing of his eldest daughter Candi, Parker has lives with his other two daughters, Danielle and Lindsay, in West Los Angeles.
