Bill and Katie get married, as Eric, Stephanie and Thorne get a head start on the reception.

In the park in their old neighborhood, Stephen walks Katie down the aisle to Bill as their family, friends and neighbors look on. When Katie gets to him, Bill tells her she takes his breath away.

The wedding gets underway as Karen does a reading and thanks Katie for putting a smile on Bill’s face. Stephen is next and encourages Beth to speak with him. They recall old times in the neighborhood and Stephen says he doesn’t know how he ever left Katie, or how she forgave him, but he’s glad to be a part of the family again and now he has a new happy memory: Katie’s wedding.

When Stephen is done, the priest asks for the rings and Bill and Katie put them on each other. Katie recites her vows saying she never could have imagined Bill or how he could bring so much love and joy to her life. She accepts him for who he is and loves him for his flaws, honesty, loyalty and strength. She has felt his heart almost from the moment they first met and she will cherish it for the rest of her life. When it’s Bill’s turn, he brings out the vows Jarrett wrote for him, but then puts it back in his pocket. He tells her he has never been overwhelmed, until today. This park is a sacred place because he now sees her for the complete woman she is. She is his vision and has brought so much to his life and made him want something he never cared much about: being a part of a family. He is honored to be a part of hers and will love her each and every day until the day he dies. The priest pronounces them husband and wife and Bill kisses his bride. Bill and Katie then get in the red convertible she had refurbished. Katie looks back at her old bedroom window and drives off.

Back at the house, Eric and Stephanie sample more of the food Bill paid for. Thorne walks in wondering why Eric is hosting a wedding reception for Bill Spencer. Eric says Donna is, he is not. Stephanie thinks Donna should be supporting him and Thorne agrees that she isn’t showing him any respect. Thorne says it’s not right and Eric responds, "No, it’s not." Thorne makes them some martinis and enjoys seeing his parents getting along. Stephanie learns the wedding is taking place in a public park and snickers, but thinks it’s a way for Katie to pay tribute to her childhood and her mother. Stephanie has always admired Katie because she’s a very special girl. Even though Thorne and Eric are disdainful, Stephanie wants to give Katie the benefit of the doubt and hopes she has a wonderful day for her and her whole family.
