On The Catwalk.

Thursday, October 29 2009
Donna gets a surprise first guest, while Brooke tries to get Forrester back for Ridge.

Brooke gets a report messengered over as Ridge returns to his office. He says the office that once felt like his home away from home now feels like a prison. As she holds the binder, Brooke believes it will all change.

Donna prepares for her first day as host of “The Catwalk” but doesn’t want to know who the guest is. She wants to be surprised, but Justin doesn’t think that’s a good idea.

At Jackie M, Stephanie is skeptical of being on “The Catwalk” wondering why her appearance is so sudden, as Pam tries to build up the excitement of it all.

Katie and Bill look for a date for their wedding, but their calendars are full. Brooke comes to Katie’s office and tells Bill she made a mistake and needs his help to correct it. She explains how Ridge can’t work here and that it’s killing his spirit. She talked to her accountant and shows him her financial records reflecting everything she’s worth. She wants Bill to have all her assets and says she can borrow the rest. She wants him to reinstate the nine-year note the bank took away from them and they’ll be able to manage everything. She just wants to give her husband back his work, his life, his dream. Ridge listens at the door as Brooke tries to convince Bill to sell FC back to her. Katie says she can’t liquidate all her assets, but Brooke doesn’t care about any of that. Bill turns her down and Brooke urges Katie to talk to him about this. Bill says Katie can’t undo this because they have made a huge commitment and he can’t back out now because it would cause irreparable damage to both companies. He’s sorry, but life disappoints us all and suggests Ridge find another dream.

Pam and Stephanie come to the set of “The Catwalk” and Justin meets with them. Pam asks where Emerson is, but Justin tells them he quit today and Donna walks up. They realize Donna is the host and are aghast. Stephanie doesn’t want to do it, but Justin and Donna think who better than them to discuss the changing of hands at Forrester. Stephanie can’t believe Donna will go on TV to make entertainment out of the worst thing to happen to Eric. Donna counters Stephanie is the worst thing to happen to him. Donna says she will keep her commitment as host and Pam tries to convince Stephanie to do the interview.

“The Catwalk” goes live and Donna welcomes everyone to the show, explaining she is the new host, as Pam and Stephanie watch from the wings. She introduces Stephanie as her guest, but Stephanie wants no part of it and walks away. Donna tries to cover and drags Pam out to replace Stephanie as her guest. Pam sits on the couch like a deer caught in headlights, as Donna tries to question her about Stephanie. Pam can’t answer as she just stares into the camera with her mouth hung open.

After Brooke leaves, Bill tells Katie he hates being asked to help when he can’t. He can’t understand why no one sees he is the last best chance they’ve got. Katie sees it and Bill says it’s all about pride, but pride always heals.

Brooke returns to Ridge’s office and he tells her he heard what she tried to do for him. Ridge tells her she gave him back his dream and he will work every day to earn her faith in him. Brooke responds that he doesn’t need to prove anything to her. He’s never been more proud and she reminded him her love is what’s most important. He loves her so much and will always love her. He thanks her and they embrace.

BORING... ready for a nap after this episode.

I like how the writers are trying to bring a little bit of comedy into this w/ Donna/Pam... but w/ regard to rest of the show.. there isn't much there!

What happened to the spice/drama...

My Bridge made me cry! What Brooke did was unselfish pure love and gave Ridge the boost he needed to do what needs to be done.

Oh don't underestimate Brooke Logan, she's just getting warmed up. She holds the record for dropping her panties faster than any woman on daytime soaps!!

Donna continues to make a laughing stock of herself, the woman is a moron.

We need to all write to CBS and tell them we want B&B to go to a one hour show.Lets gang up on them. They can do more with the stories and characters like Thorne and Felicia etc.I urge you to write,I did!

vanig, I don't know about that, do you watch Y&R? How many s/l's going on there, and how many dual roles characters are playing, for instance, Stacey Haiduk playing three characters, is ridiculous. If B&B had an hour, it's just be an additional half hour of stupidity.

I love YNR at least they have more people in real stories. Now that BIG VIC is leaving they can let the Abbott Newman feud go on by the real YOUNG and restless. There is more time for real stories.BnB is about the fashion world,it has a little different Hollywood flavor.Big Buisness taking over as a mega industry. This is very today, but we should see more drama and characters. We could if there was more time.
