Bridget gets disappointing news, as Pam makes a splash on “The Catwalk.”
After doing an interview over the phone in French, Jackie hopes Owen won’t regret never being a father. Owen says there are many choices in life and he chooses her. Nick comes in and they tell him everything has been worked out and they want to go celebrate. Nick tells them Bridget has an appointment with her OBGYN and Jackie asks if everything is alright. Nick says it was just time for a checkup, but Jackie senses something is bothering Nick. She asks Owen to leave and asks her son what’s going on. She wonders if Bridget is pregnant and he says not that he knows of. He says losing their baby was the hardest thing they ever had to deal with and Bridget wants to erase that memory with a baby of their own. He’s scared to think about it because she almost died and had miscarriage since then. He can’t make the choice between Bridget and the baby if it comes down to it. Nick knows Bridget is talking to the doctor about getting pregnant and leaves to pick her up.
At the doctor’s office, Dr. Caspery tells Bridget all her tests have come back normal and Bridget tells the doctor she wants to try getting pregnant again.
As Pam continues to sit awestruck on “The Catwalk,” Donna shows her a Doberman calendar with Tiny’s photo in it. This brings Pam out of her trance as she shows the audience the photo. Pam is thrilled Donna submitted Tiny to the calendar, but brings up their ugly past with the dog and Donna’s history with Eric and Stephanie. The audience laughs as they play verbal ping-pong and Justin and Jarrett look on pleased from the wings. Pam hams it up as the audience continues to encourage her.
Bridget gets dressed as Nick comes to pick her up and tells him they won’t have the life they planned because she will probably never carry a child to term. She gets upset that she may never have a baby, but doesn’t want to give up. Nick says it might be best and declares he won’t go through what they did before again. He’s scared and reminds her she almost died. He’s made up his mind and will have a vasectomy if she goes off the pill. Nick just wants what he has. He loves her and wants to raise Jack with her and count his blessings every day. He’s good with the life that he has and hopes she is too. Bridget cries, as he takes her in his arms.
Jarrett and Justin talk to Donna about the show and Pam comes out wondering how she gets paid. Justin points out she was a guest, but Pam reminds them she saved them since Stephanie walked off. Jarrett tells the ladies they made a good team, as Donna looks horrified.
