Ridge and Taylor lay everything on the line, Brooke tells Rick what Taylor said, and Owen tries to seduce Donna again.

Ridge asks if Taylor still loves him and Taylor admits she does. Taylor is a little embarrassed, but Ridge is understanding. Ridge says she’s not the only one with feelings, confessing that he still cares for her too. Taylor points out there’s ‘caring’ and then there’s ‘caring’ and Ridge asks her to define her sense of ‘caring’. Taylor tells him he was the love of her life and Ridge admits she was his too. Taylor blames Brooke for ruining their life together and thinks about what might have been. Ridge recalls that their life took some bizarre twists, but he had a baby with Brooke and he was trying to do the right thing. Taylor doesn’t think he did anything wrong, but reminds him that he and Brooke haven’t gotten married yet. She wonders, if Brooke and Ridge were meant to have a life together, why don’t they have one? She asks if Ridge ever thought about that. Ridge asks her why she thinks they haven’t yet and Taylor responds that maybe it’s because of Nick and Brooke’s intense history. Ridge isn’t worried about it explaining he talked to Brooke about that issue already. Taylor isn’t convinced and thinks he shouldn’t have to have that conversation with the woman he’s about to marry. Ridge thinks there’s nothing wrong with getting everything out in the open, but Taylor thinks maybe the two of them missed their time together or something is holding them back. Ridge retorts, “Or holding you back Taylor.” He thinks she’s not exactly thrilled to get married herself and assumes it was Rick’s idea and not hers. Taylor gets teary telling Ridge how hard it was to give him up, but she did it because he convinced her Brooke made him happier. She asks if he is happier or if she made a mistake giving him up. Ridge won’t compare the life he has with Brooke with what they shared. They are separate, but both very special to him. Ridge calls her ‘Doc’ and Taylor is thrilled to hear the term of endearment – it still sends shivers up her spine. She says she thought their family was perfect and she never thought she would have that kind of bond with anyone again. Ridge enjoys the memory of them as a family as well. Taylor tells him he is the love of her life and she’s trying to move on, however, she will always know that she loves him. Ridge tells her that he will always love her too. They hug and then Taylor passionately kisses him.

Still shirtless, Owen tries to convince Donna that what she did was selfless because she was protecting the man she loves. While drinking wine, Donna says she isn’t so sure that Pam will keep her end of the bargain. She wonders if Pam will kill Eric anyway and can’t stand the idea of Eric dying thinking she didn’t love him. Owen tells Donna there might be a way to get her husband back and suggests she meet with Eric secretly so Pam doesn’t know. Donna thinks Pam will kill Eric if she finds out and she can’t risk that. Donna thanks him for trying, but thinks this is the way it has to be. She wonders though, how she’s supposed to let Eric go. Owen says he will be there for her and Donna tells him he’s been her pillar of strength and that she couldn’t have done this without him. Donna takes another drink and Owen tells her she’s had enough and takes the glass and bottle out of her hand. Donna says she’s tired and Owen offers her his bed – he’ll sleep on the couch. Donna thanks him for everything and walks upstairs.

Rick comes to see Brooke who tells him she went to see Taylor. She wants him to be happy, but doesn’t think marrying Taylor is the way to achieve that. Rick doesn’t want to hear anymore, but Brooke tells him that Taylor is still in love with Ridge. Rick wants to know what exactly Taylor said and Brooke recounts her saying, "Give me back my husband.” Rick thinks Brooke was just baiting Taylor and tells his mother to stop meddling in his life. Brooke also tells him that Taylor admitted that Ridge is the love of her life. Rick doesn’t believe her, but Brooke suggests he go ask Taylor himself. Rick says Taylor still has feelings for Ridge like Brooke does for Eric and Nick, but Brooke says it goes deeper than that. Brooke doesn’t like seeing Rick hurt and doesn’t want to see him go through all that heartache, so she can’t ignore what Taylor said. Rick says he'll ignore it, but Brooke wonders why it doesn't bother him that Taylor has unrequited feelings for Ridge. Rick says he’s not worried about himself, but about Ridge. Brooke assures her son that she and Ridge are secure and that nothing will get in the way of their happiness.

Donna sits alone in the bedroom looking at one of her wedding photos on her phone and deletes it. Owen comes up behind her and caresses her. He starts to kiss her neck as Donna cries. She turns around and kisses him, but then stops because she’s too upset and still devoted to Eric. She says, “He may be gone, but I’m going to love him forever.”
