Donna's suspicions are confirmed. Eric's children plot behind his back!
At Nick’s house, Donna wonders aloud to Katie, “What if I’ve blown my only chance at knowing my son?” Katie asks for more details, and Donna says he found her name in his adoptive parents’ things. Katie says she’ll try to get more information from the hospital records. Donna rushes to make a meeting at Forrester Creations, and Katie promises to call if she finds anything out.
At Forrester, Eric asks Thorne, Felicia, Ridge, Brooke and Ashley to wait for Donna – after all, if not for her, the company would still be in the hands of Nick Marone! Eric’s kids tell him that they don’t see Donna having an important role in the company. Eric says Donna is his wife and they will respect her! Just then, Donna walks in and asks what she missed. Eric welcomes her and they sit down. Felicia notes that Donna hasn’t read the agenda and isn’t prepared. As Eric begins the meeting, Ridge speaks up and tells Donna that she doesn’t belong at Forrester Creations. Brooke speaks up and says Donna inspired one of the most successful collections. Eric again insists that they show Donna respect, but his kids are having none of it. Ridge throws it in Eric’s face that he shamed the company by standing naked out on a ledge. Eric sternly tells them that the meeting is adjourned until they are ready to respect the new Mrs. Eric Forrester.
Back at Nick’s house, Katie speaks to the hospital about Donna’s adoption and asks if the mother and son want to find one another, what can be done to unseal the records.
Eric and Donna speak in his office alone. She says perhaps too much has happened and she shouldn’t be there. Eric tells her that he has complete faith in the woman he married. As they embrace, Marcus arrives at the reception desk and asks to speak to Mrs. Forrester! The receptionist goes to tell Donna there is someone to see her. Donna asks Eric if she can use his office. Eric says, ‘sure’, and excuses himself to go to a meeting. Donna invites Marcus inside the office and apologizes for the way she treated him initially. He asks if she was mistaken about not being his mother.
Brooke argues in the conference room with Ridge, Felicia, Thorne, and Ashley about whether or not Donna belongs with Forrester Creations. Ridge informs an outraged Brooke that no-show Rick has worn out his welcome as well! Felicia adds that Stephanie should be there – and she won’t be taking orders from Donna!
Back in Eric’s office, Donna’s phone rings. It’s Katie telling her that she has found something out. Donna looks at Marcus and says, “We’ll be right over.” Katie is stunned, and Donna hangs up. Donna turns to Marcus and tells him that they need to talk – but not at Forrester.
Back in the conference room, Brooke says she is outraged at the abuse they are heaping on her sister – especially Ridge. Ridge says Brooke and Katie will always belong there, but not Donna – she doesn’t fit. Soon, they all start to question Eric’s ability to manage the company! Ridge again tells Brooke not to worry about her job, but Brooke informs him that if he takes a stand against her family, then he takes a stand against her!
Donna arrives at Nick’s house to meet Katie, and Marcus isn’t far behind. Donna introduces them, and when Marcus asks Donna for the truth, she admits that she did in fact give up a son for adoption. He claims to have proof, and asks what she remembers about the birth. She replies that it was about 5:30 in the morning on a gorgeous day, July 9th actually. Marcus shows her his original birth certificate, from before the adoption. It confirms that he is her son. Donna sobs, “My God. Its true! You’re my son!” She puts her hand on his face and they embrace!
