Welcome to the Shot By Storm Club!

Monday, May 12 2008
Katie bonds with an unexpected visitor. Brooke argues with Ridge. Donna and Eric celebrate quietly.

Brooke and Ridge arrive home, and Brooke chats happily about her sister and Eric finally tying the knot. Ridge says if they're going to talk about weddings, it should be theirs! She asks him if he is sure about marrying her. He replies, "I love you. I'm as sure as I've ever been!" They begin to kiss and decide they'll start making wedding plans that night - right after they make love! Ridge spoils the mood, however, by blurting out that they won't be having their wedding at the Forrester house now that Donna's there - it just wouldn't work for him. Brooke steps back. "You've just insulted my sister!" Ridge tells her she is over-reacting! He claims he has never made a secret of his feelings about his parents divorcing. Ridge tells Brooke he's just worried about his mother - she's not returning his calls. Brooke asks if he wants to look for her, but Ridge says not right now. Brooke then tells Ridge that she and Donna have been trying to set up a Memorial service for Storm - they need to say goodbye. Ridge scoffs and lists Storm's dirty deeds. "Is that really something you want to pay tribute to?" Brooke turns and looks at him with the evil eye! She tells Ridge he is being very insensitive. "I'm grieving! I don't care what you say, Storm was a good person and I loved him!" As she starts to cry, Ridge apologizes and takes her in his arms. He again apologizes for not taking away her stress and just saying things that make her feel bad. "Can you forgive me?" Brooke says she wants to forgive him. He assures her that they're going to get through this. "I love you. I love you so much!"

At the Forrester Mansion, the newlyweds toast each other and their happiness. As they chat away, Donna says she's still surprised that Pam or Stephanie didn't try to stop the nuptials. Eric says he was actually very proud of the way his ex-wife acted! Eric suddenly spies a picture of Stephanie, Ridge, and Thorne on a nearby table. He asks Donna why she is so quiet all of the sudden. She says she is thinking about the need for a funeral for Storm. Eric notes that they'll probably want to wait until Katie is out of the hospital. They discuss how she has been through so much. As Donna says she needs to make a call, Eric tells her that he will wait for her in the shower!

Stephanie arrives at the hospital. She enters Katie's room and tells her she brought flowers from the wedding! Katie rolls her eyes and says, "Why don't you just say it, Stephanie? I begged you to keep Storm out of jail, and that's why I'm here now." Stephanie says actually, after the wedding she didn't want to go drown her sorrows, nor did she want to talk to her children, and she thought of Katie. Katie says wryly, "What. Now we're the 'Shot by Storm' Club?" Stephanie laughs and says they have that in common certainly, but they also have a pair of broken hearts! As the conversation progresses, Katie confides in Stephanie about how angry she is feeling. She admits that he was a time bomb and she was stupid to have tried to protect him after he shot Steph! Stephanie assures Katie that she couldn't have known what Storm was going to do next - she was protecting him out of love. Katie tells her that she blames herself for what happened. Stephanie continues to try and convince Katie to stop blaming herself. Katie sneers. "My sisters call it our brother's 'final gift'!" She tells Stephanie that she hates all of this so much - suicide is wrong! "I don't know whose life I'm living now, but it's not mine!" Suddenly the phone rings. It's Donna telling Katie she is thinking about her and that the wedding went well. Katie tells her she is tired, but Donna asks her if she would like them to wait until she is out of the hospital for Storm's memorial. Katie tells her that they should go ahead - she wouldn't go anyway. Donna is in disbelief, but Katie tells her, "The kind of eulogy I'd deliver would not be what you'd want to hear!" Donna tells her if she's going to be like that then she's glad she isn't coming to the memorial! After they hang-up, Katie rails to Stephanie about her sisters, and how they'll probably hate her, but she just can't see this the way they do! Stephanie tells her she is entitled to her feelings. Katie blurts, "Aren't you glad you stopped by?! You probably found the one person who is more miserable than you!" Stephanie smirks, "There is a certain amount of comfort in that." An emotional Katie tells Stephanie she doesn't know how she's going to go on. "I'm all alone!" Stephanie hushes her. "That's not true, there's a lot of people that love you. You're not alone."

What would Nick had done with Jack if he was still in his care? /:) Haven't seen his mother. Even though I could careless about her. Katie and Stephanie, is the real deal for today, IMO.

Am I the only one who is way tired of seeing Eric as an over sexed old man. Move on. He should be with an older women, not one as young as his daughters. And everyone thinks Taylor dating Rick is weird. I tell you, one more month of seeing Eric and Donna groping over each other and I am going to take a nap for a half hour each day!

Hi, Ladies:

Just watched the epi, and I think that Stephanie has found an "empty vessel" in Katie that she may feel she can help...

Fictional stories aside, try this link:

Truth is stranger, and in this case, nobler, than any fiction that could ever be written...

Good Morning ladies

Another day in Logandise.
When Steph encouraged that creep to date Brooke (Not knowing that he was a rapist) she was named all sort of things.
Brooke encouraged Stormie to go after Ash knowing that he was a basket case yet she has not been banned from the entire family.
Ash or her daughter could have been killed.

If Brooke stayed out of everyone's business than this whole Stormie incident would not have happened.
One minute she is trying to convince Eric to marry her sister and the next she is grieving.
I have not seen her sit down for just one minute and think about her role in this situation.

I hope everyone finds out that she encouraged Storm to go after Ash and that everyone turns against her like they did to Steph.
I can understand Katie having difficulty with this so called "gift" cause I feel it was a cowards way out.
If they believed in accepting responsibility for your actions than none of this would have happened.
I knew this would come back to bite them in the you know what.
Yes Steph has made her fare share of mistakes but none of the Lowgans light a candle to her.
This is only the beggining. Eric'a decision to marry the trailer park barbie will soon also have him crying crocodile tears.
I will be standing with a bottle of champagne when that happens.

My five cents worth

Hey, Candy:

I agree, the marriage of Donna and Eric, and most likely Brooke and Ridge (if it happens), have failure written all over them! This soap is just too predictable!

And in that vein, I must say, I was a fairly new watcher when Darla was "killed". Yet I saw that coming for ten miles, because she was just TOO happy! Y'know what I mean?!? Smiles all around, oh, I am so happy---my life is grand!!! SPLAT!

GMAB! Mark my words, there are more predictable SPLATS to come!

Hi D! I understand you completely.

It just seems to me, that when you know how someone feels, you don't go ramming their dislikes down their throught.

Both of them should take a time out and sort out what is important for their relationship, what they want together and all that is ground for differences, they should leave out.

That pairing has never healed, all the real issues were and still are being ignored. They think that love will conquer all... but in order for that to happen, they need to work out their problems.

My Mother's day sucked, I got home from work and went to bed, that is how beat I was... it was like that the whole weekend. Glad you had a really cool weekend. You needed the kick-back and relax after the last couple of months. Enjoy and keep that: take it easy in your days... glad that you replied...

Outland!

tufenuf,
IMO, Eric looks like a pedifile when he's slobbering all over Dumma. Just plain nasty looking. I guess his eyebrow's its what makes him look that way to me, a dirty old man. Ugh!
