Will You Take This Woman....

Thursday, May 08 2008
As the wedding ceremony begins at the Forrester Mansion, Nick spends time with Katie at the hospital.

At the Forrester mansion, Brooke tells Stephanie the wedding is set to proceed, saying, "In a few moments Donna and Eric will be husband and wife!" Stephanie replies, "Not if he's the man I think he is!" Inside, Felicia tells her father if he wants to back out, they could send the Minister home and have a family reunion! He just gives her a look. Nearby, Pam tries to engage Stephanie in a plot to make sure the wedding is a bust, but Stephanie says she's not going to pull anything. "And neither are you!" In an outer doorway, Taylor stands with Rick worrying about 'giving people something to talk about' by showing up together. Rick points out that his father and Donna are getting married in Stephanie's house - they already have plenty to talk about! Out on the terrace, Ridge presents Brooke with flowers. As Brooke speculates on the fate of Storm and Katie being in the hospital, Ashley comes out and offers a kind word about Storm. Meanwhile, in the hospital, Katie re-reads the portion of Storm's letter that asks her not to be too angry, for too long. "Our sisters will need us!" Nick comes in just then, and quips, "I see you've chosen a little light reading!" Katie shares her point of view with him, on what Storm did. "It's sick!" Back at the wedding, Donna laments to her father that it just doesn't feel right with Katie not there. He tries to lighten her mood by joking that she's about to be given the keys to Stephanie Forrester's house! It's another miracle! Donna smiles. "Oh, dad." Meanwhile, Brooke corners Eric and tries to extract a promise from him that he isn't going to back out and break Donna's heart!

At the hospital, Nick concedes that having her dead brother's heart in her is a little creepy, but she can choose to be creeped-out or make the best of it! Katie wonders why the Logan family was so convinced that Storm needed to be kept free, out of prison. "Maybe we were being selfish! Maybe he should have been locked up!" Nick says she'll have to live with that, and if she can't rally for her own sake, she should do it for her family's sake - they prayed for a miracle, and they got one! Back at the wedding, Donna asks the chuckling Minister to skip the part where he asks if there are any objections! Nearby, Ridge asks Rick what the hell he is doing bringing Taylor there! Rick tells him it's none of his business! Across the room, Stephen introduces himself to Pam who says, "Oh, you're the father of the home-wrecker!" He laughs, "And you must be Stephanie's charming sister!" Out on the terrace, Taylor defends her relationship with Rick to Brooke once again. Inside, Eric is now speaking with Stephanie who reminds him that vows are for a lifetime! Suddenly, the wedding march begins! Pam sits in her seat glaring and imagines herself spraying the bride down with a big hose! Back in reality, Stephen walks his daughter down the aisle and hands her off to a smiling Eric. Stephanie watches, taking deep breaths.

In Katie's room, she tells Nick that Storm didn't have to die! Nick replies that that is true, but if he hadn't, she would've! He explains to her how everything happened that day, and suggests she might want to be grateful to Storm. Back at the wedding, Brooke finishes a reading and wishes Donna and Eric safe harbor from 'tempests' that may surround them. Donna and Eric exchange heartfelt vows next. In Donna's vows she says today is about uniting families. She claims she has been thinking a lot that day about her family, and the members who can't be here, and how his family is here. He interrupts and says he has been thinking about these same things, and about other weddings that have taken place in the house. He then tells her that she can trust him - he is going to love her everyday of his life from now on! Stephanie hears his words and a slightly surprised look crosses her face. Back at the hospital, Katie tells Nick she realizes she is lucky to be alive, but she is having trouble grasping that Storm had to die. "How do I move on, when every breath is a reminder. I lay here and listen to my brother's heart in my chest and I feel lost. Like I'm not me anymore!" Nick says his guess is that she is still her! He notes that he was only getting to know her when this happened, but if she gives him a chance he might be able to help her come to terms with all this. Back at the wedding as the Minister continues with the ceremony, Stephanie remembers back to Eric promising to love her many years ago. As the Minister asks Eric if he will take Donna to be his wife, there is a pause. Stephanie leans forward in her seat...

Luvda - Darn work getting in the way of BnB. So unfair. I don't understand why people get upset about the personal stuff. I like the personal stuff. Makes words look/feel human.

I can't watch til I get home either but the recaps always give me a pretty good idea of what happened.

Bogey, I can watch it at home if my VCR feels like it. My tape can be in there and maybe after a hour or so, it'll pop out. I know thats what its going to do because i really want to see this episode.

It really bothers me how Brooke is all over her father now like he never did anything to him and that he was the world's greatest father!

Stephen is a low-life and is hanging around to see if his daughter gives him a handout or maybe a job at Forrester.

Pammie is going to Chicago after the wedding. She had a black doggie bone attached to her dress yesterday and was too funny, remembering Tiny

Bogey! I am fine but will be turning in early... early-shift in the morning and that sucks....

Luvda, as long as we are over 100 comments... yes, we have noticed...

This wedding is going to be the hammer I think. Sad for Stephanie in a way, somehow she still has faith that that old coot will come to his sences...

I wouldn't put my hand in fire for him... he is just looking for someone to change his diapers for him and isn't sure that Stephanie will be around that long.

Still, there are private nurses... he didn't have to go overboard with that.

Thanx Luvda, going over to check my mails......

How gross... that old man chasing this child through the jungle.. hope balua will show up and give him a run for his honey...

Eric is nasty... and Donna is even nastier for playing tonsil-hockey with that ancient man... ewwwww and that all for money... no way... nasty!

Oh yeah I forgot about Pammie's dog bone. Too funny. Tiny did get to come to the wedding.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO jungle honeymoon please!!!! I quite frankly don't want to see any of their honeymoon. It would be OK to watch if the love birds actually left the room. I certainly cannot sit through a week long hotel room/pouncing scenes.

Nite Outland! Chat with you on Monday.

not gone yet Bogey.. in about 2-3 hours first.

Oh God, please spare us the honeymoon... backburner the two until it is over... PLEASE!!!

I am tired of watching Eric leave Stephanie for a Logan. I think it is time for another man to show interest in Stephanie. She deserves better than Eric!

Hey ladies.... left ya a quick message in the lounge....

Isn't that the same gown Donna wore in September when she was supposed to marry Thorne? I had to feel bad and moved watching Stephanie Thurs. and Fri. I really didn't think Eric would go through with it but he did. But, if I were in Pop Tart's shoes, I gotta tell ya, I would never have married in my fiancee's house with the ex. wife present! And don't they have to actually FILE the paperwork legalizing the divorce before they remarry? Everyone seems to walk around with legal papers like they are napkins and yet nobody ever goes to file them. Oh wait, their lawyer played Russian Roulette with a revolver and lost so they need a new lawyer!

Ya see the casting call out for Beth Logan? Wow...how interesting that will be! I loved Thorne's comment "Anyone wanna go drink, I'm buying."
