Will You Take This Woman....

Thursday, May 08 2008
As the wedding ceremony begins at the Forrester Mansion, Nick spends time with Katie at the hospital.

At the Forrester mansion, Brooke tells Stephanie the wedding is set to proceed, saying, "In a few moments Donna and Eric will be husband and wife!" Stephanie replies, "Not if he's the man I think he is!" Inside, Felicia tells her father if he wants to back out, they could send the Minister home and have a family reunion! He just gives her a look. Nearby, Pam tries to engage Stephanie in a plot to make sure the wedding is a bust, but Stephanie says she's not going to pull anything. "And neither are you!" In an outer doorway, Taylor stands with Rick worrying about 'giving people something to talk about' by showing up together. Rick points out that his father and Donna are getting married in Stephanie's house - they already have plenty to talk about! Out on the terrace, Ridge presents Brooke with flowers. As Brooke speculates on the fate of Storm and Katie being in the hospital, Ashley comes out and offers a kind word about Storm. Meanwhile, in the hospital, Katie re-reads the portion of Storm's letter that asks her not to be too angry, for too long. "Our sisters will need us!" Nick comes in just then, and quips, "I see you've chosen a little light reading!" Katie shares her point of view with him, on what Storm did. "It's sick!" Back at the wedding, Donna laments to her father that it just doesn't feel right with Katie not there. He tries to lighten her mood by joking that she's about to be given the keys to Stephanie Forrester's house! It's another miracle! Donna smiles. "Oh, dad." Meanwhile, Brooke corners Eric and tries to extract a promise from him that he isn't going to back out and break Donna's heart!

At the hospital, Nick concedes that having her dead brother's heart in her is a little creepy, but she can choose to be creeped-out or make the best of it! Katie wonders why the Logan family was so convinced that Storm needed to be kept free, out of prison. "Maybe we were being selfish! Maybe he should have been locked up!" Nick says she'll have to live with that, and if she can't rally for her own sake, she should do it for her family's sake - they prayed for a miracle, and they got one! Back at the wedding, Donna asks the chuckling Minister to skip the part where he asks if there are any objections! Nearby, Ridge asks Rick what the hell he is doing bringing Taylor there! Rick tells him it's none of his business! Across the room, Stephen introduces himself to Pam who says, "Oh, you're the father of the home-wrecker!" He laughs, "And you must be Stephanie's charming sister!" Out on the terrace, Taylor defends her relationship with Rick to Brooke once again. Inside, Eric is now speaking with Stephanie who reminds him that vows are for a lifetime! Suddenly, the wedding march begins! Pam sits in her seat glaring and imagines herself spraying the bride down with a big hose! Back in reality, Stephen walks his daughter down the aisle and hands her off to a smiling Eric. Stephanie watches, taking deep breaths.

In Katie's room, she tells Nick that Storm didn't have to die! Nick replies that that is true, but if he hadn't, she would've! He explains to her how everything happened that day, and suggests she might want to be grateful to Storm. Back at the wedding, Brooke finishes a reading and wishes Donna and Eric safe harbor from 'tempests' that may surround them. Donna and Eric exchange heartfelt vows next. In Donna's vows she says today is about uniting families. She claims she has been thinking a lot that day about her family, and the members who can't be here, and how his family is here. He interrupts and says he has been thinking about these same things, and about other weddings that have taken place in the house. He then tells her that she can trust him - he is going to love her everyday of his life from now on! Stephanie hears his words and a slightly surprised look crosses her face. Back at the hospital, Katie tells Nick she realizes she is lucky to be alive, but she is having trouble grasping that Storm had to die. "How do I move on, when every breath is a reminder. I lay here and listen to my brother's heart in my chest and I feel lost. Like I'm not me anymore!" Nick says his guess is that she is still her! He notes that he was only getting to know her when this happened, but if she gives him a chance he might be able to help her come to terms with all this. Back at the wedding as the Minister continues with the ceremony, Stephanie remembers back to Eric promising to love her many years ago. As the Minister asks Eric if he will take Donna to be his wife, there is a pause. Stephanie leans forward in her seat...

Hi POV

Sorry to have missed you.
Would have loved to help you keep an eye on Stormie.
Still very weird that I am at work while you getting ready for bed.
Will see you when you wake up.
Sleep tight and dont let Brooke bite.

MY five cents worth

candy050...I did read your post again and let me REPEAT.
There in nothing admirable about 'standing by your man ' when he's a womaniser and cheat. It's weak and degrading.
She should have told him to 'bugger off ' years ago.
Maybe if she hadn't been a pathetic doormat for years she wouldn't have had such idiotic children. They might have seen a strong woman who valued herself.
She's brought all of this misery from Eric on herself. He just comes and goes with her as the mood takes him and she accepts it.
Please.... she's an idiot.

Hi Candy!!! Hope you are doing well, I am not believing the last two weeks of sunshine and warmth here in the north, thanks for sending us all this good weather.

I have to agree with you, it is a lot finer to fight for your love rather than to jump ship and run, as Brooke always has. She has always cheated, gotten caught and then got out her marriages, rather than being honest with her partner from the get go, looking for solutions in making things work out and truly giving her best to make things work.

Stephanie comes from the old school of wives, who would rather swallow a bit of shame in order to preserve the hard work and love that was invested into the marriage.

Today, we have lot of divorces because the people are too rushed into situations that are not completely thought out, rather are results of impulse and agendas.

I know many who have tried to fight for that what they have built, they are not so rare, but are becoming more and more a rarity.

I commend Stephanie that she has been fighting like a tiger all these years to keep the Logans where they belong... away from her family. Although I have to agree with those who say that it is time for her to close the chapter on this love of hers, she has fought well.

Hoping to speak to you later!

Outland!

Lucyg this is the last time I am doing this with you.
You have your opinion and I have no interest in changing it.
You wanted to know why some of us were Steph fans and I gave you a few reasons.
One of them was remaining with that bastard of a man (Which I would not).
IF you read again you will see I said that staying married to an idiot like that could be interpreted many ways (negagtive included).
You chose to go the negative route (And I see the sense in that cause I would also have left)
I choose to go the positive route because I am obviously a fan of Steph's.

So that being said, we can debate this from now until the end of the earth you will not change my mind neither will I yours.
I still think the biggest idiots on this show are the Lowgans.
Not one of those blondes will ever be able to walk in Steph's shoes.
I was wondering...If Steph is so pathetic why does Bwooke and Dumma want what she has?
I tell you why... They are more pathetic.

Lucy you are entitled to feel it is Steph. It is YOUR opinion. I just dont agree with it.

Is anybody else going to come out to play.

MY five cents worth

Still despising Katie and wish she would have croaked. And really hate way she chased Popeye. Now real"gripe.Posters posting back and forth, back and forth to each other and make remarks like "want to talk to you later, ever heard of a private chat?? Quite wating space made for posts about the SL. We are not dumb an all know Donna will have a past bf arrive in town especially when he founds out she married money and I do think the wedding will go forward. This new guy they have hired, Brandon Beemer (ex Shawn fro Days) will probably be the one as I don't think they will let in me Stephanie but when Donna has a fling or whatever with the ex bf, Eric will find comfortin Stephanie's arms thus renewing thier love as I don't think it will be Steph to break up the marriage!!

Scgirl Dont hate girl. if you want to join in the conversation you are welcome.
If you dont than please do not read.

The last time I checked Candace was the moderator. We really dont need another one as you are also not following guidelines by posting a spoiler without a spoiler alert.

Now back to the soap. Outland you are good with words. You have said exactly what I was thinking.

Like I said I understand leaving a cheating husband. Our society today teaches us to give up without fighting but that is just not Steph.

She is a woman of strength. No she is not without flaws but she does have many admirable qualities.
Cannot wait for today's episode.
I think stupid Eric will go through with this wedding BUT the joke will definately be on him not steph.

Good Morning Candy,

See you holding it down.

I don't understand if you have a problem with some posts, hit the "contact us" and send your well wishes there.

I see no one mentioned that Dumma asked the preacher to take out the verse of "if anyone objects to this marriage", she said there would be a lot of people standing up. So the preacher agreed.

Dumma is Dumb will always be Dumb no matter the circumstance.

Brooke was acting like a Valley Girl that just nailed a rich man.

girlt22,

Dumma ain't got nothing! If she had the man (he has doubts), the house(sister and father laying claim to it),the money(that's yet to be seen). She's dumb all the day long, 24/7, 365!

SCsciencegirl,

Uh, who is this new guy that you are talking about? I thought Taylor's brother was supposed to be coming on scene, so what is the real deal who is this Brandy?
