Storm pays Ashley an unexpected visit! Ridge is stunned by what Brooke tells him! Nick confronts Katie about a secret!
Rick confronts his mother in the courtroom about her interference in his relationship with Taylor. Taylor jumps in and says she just doesn't want to argue on this day. Rick agrees, and suggests they go pick up Jack. Taylor says she'll do that on her own, and then meet him at the house. As they leave, Taylor warns Brooke to think about her own family and get her priorities in order! An outraged Brooke is left alone in the courtroom. Eventually, Ridge sidles in and asks what happened during the proceedings. A deflated Brooke tells him that Taylor regained custody and is picking Jack up at Nick's as they speak! Ridge says it's for the best, but Brooke insists that she needs to be a part of Jack's life and to see him! Ridge offers to speak to Taylor about it. Brooke informs him that Taylor and Rick are engaged. Ridge is stunned! "This can't be true!" Ridge says it must be a ploy for the court's benefit - Taylor wouldn't actually dream of doing this!
At Nick's house, he confronts Katie about what he overheard. "Did Storm shoot Stephanie?" Katie begs him not to repeat it to anyone, but Nick muses that perhaps Ashley Abbott should know! Just then, the doorbell rings as Taylor arrives to take Jack home with her! Nick says he never meant to keep her from her son, but does ask what her intentions are with Rick! She says she is focused on Jack right now, and doesn't know where things will go with Rick. They agree to do what's best for the baby and share an embrace! Katie then brings Jack downstairs and places him in Taylor's arms. After they leave, Katie reassures him that Jack will be fine. Nick turns the conversation back to Storm and Ashley - he is very concerned that she could be facing danger! Katie vehemently defends her brother and insists that he would never hurt anyone he cares about!
At home, Ashley is thinking about Ridge's warning to her about Storm. Suddenly she is startled by a noise. Storm is standing in her patio doorway! He tells her that they never finished their conversation earlier. He tells her that when he likes someone he doesn't let them go easily - and he likes her! He notes that she isn't wearing her earrings! "You're not wearing much of anything actually!" Ashley says she was just having a hot tub and is going to bed. He senses her alarm, and she says he startled her! He tells her that there is something he needs to admit to her. He tells her that he is a flawed man, and proceeds to explain his life circumstances and how he ended up shooting Stephanie. "I was the one, Ashley. I shot Stephanie Forrester." Ashley awkwardly replies that she really doesn't know what to say. He warns her not to keep lying - he knows that Ridge already told her. He asks her not to play games with him - he really hates it when people lie to him!
Back at home, Taylor and Rick hang out on the sofa with the baby. Rick tells her she would've gotten to this point with or without his help - he's just glad he's there to share in this wonderful moment! He gives her credit for intimidating his mother almost as much as Stephanie! He continues to compliment her, and she laughs, "St. Taylor, right?!" He tells her he loves her and very much wants her to be his wife. He kneels in front of her and proposes! She gasps, "Rick!" He can't believe that she needs to think about this! He asks if she really loves him. She tells him she does love him. He says he wants to be her husband and a step-father to Jack! She raises the issue of her other children, and warns that she has to think about it and talk to her other children first - especially Phoebe. He agrees to give her time to do that.

I bet Storme runs off. Ridge leave Brooke because her family is nuts and put Ashley in danger. Donna will be heart broken over her screwed up family and run to cry on Nick's shoulder.
