Hector runs a background check on Shane, Bridget finds out she's pregnant and Brooke feels guilty...
When Taylor arrives at home, Hector tells her he's moving out tomorrow. She reminds him that he needs friends, but understands if that's what he needs to do. Shane and Phoebe come in, and Taylor tells Hector about the accident, says that Shane will be staying with them for a while. Since Hector is moving out, Taylor suggests that Shane take his place in Thomas's room. Hector questions whether Shane has family, has a place in town. He accuses Shane of conveniently getting cut on purpose, using his accident to take advantage of Taylor and Phoebe. Suddenly, Hector decides to stay! Phoebe leaves them alone and takes Shane up to the guest room.
Hector tells Taylor there's something about Shane he doesn't like.
In his bedroom, Hector calls and does a background check on him.
Upstairs, Phoebe helps Shane get comfortable.
Phoebe goes downstairs, thanks Taylor for letting Shane stay with them, but Taylor reminds Phoebe that it's only for a few days.
Shane talks to himself, wanting to make his stay at Taylor's last for as long as possible.
Hector gets the information he was looking for, finds out that Shane has a record.
When asked about her results, Christian hands them to Bridget. She's pregnant! Bridget is so upset, says it should never have happened, that for her to have ended up pregnant…
Felicia walks in, overhears, questions Bridget's pregnancy. Christian gets called away and Felicia asks if Dante is the father. Bridget says, no, it's Nick's, tells her about their one night. Felicia is shocked! Bridget doesn't want to break up Nick's marriage. Although Bridget said she'd never be like her mother, she admits that she's exactly like Brooke. Bridget knows she needs to handle this the right way.
Nick and Brooke sneak away from the kids and make passionate love. Brooke feels bad that she's so happy when Bridget is suffering. Nick convinces Brooke that Bridget is taking this trip and doing what she has to do. Changing the subject, Brooke tells Nick how safe she feels, that she knows that Nick would never betray her. Nick is filled with guilt.
