The Boldface Challenge comes to it's conclusion. Donna has a proposal for Stephanie. Brooke tells Ridge about the rape.
On the Boldface Challenge stage, Constantine lets Phoebe 'do the honors'. He hands the envelope to her, and she announces 'the winner is... Constantine and Phoebe!' The crowd goes wild, but Rick is none too pleased, he leaves the stage crestfallen. Constantine and Phoebe hug. The music begins and the pair sing their song "Everybody Loves". As the song ends everyone claps.
Brooke, still in her room, is pacing and upset, "They can't do this to me, I won't let them." The phone rings and she says "No I don't want to see him!" But her bedroom door opens and Ridge enters. She says "I don't want to see you Ridge." He replies, "You missed the concert." Brooke doesn't reply, but tells him that she had a visit from his mother. He sighs, "I wanted to talk to you first..." She blurts, "So you really did it..you did sign that petition!" He nods. A furious Brooke says, "So, she finally got to you , she finally turned you against me!"
As the audience continues to applaud, Rick begins walking away in the wings, but Phoebe suddenly starts singing her and Rick's song. He turns slowly, picks up his mike and joins in, slowly walking toward her on the stage. They face one another and sing to each other,"I Want To Spend My Lifetime Loving You..." At the end of the song she says, "I don't care who on the contest, I love you..." They kiss..
"Your mother showed me the petition, you're suing for full custody!" shouts Brooke to Ridge. He shakes his head, "She shouldn't have done that." Brooke tells him they've had their differences but always agreed about the well-being of the kids. He says that maybe they still do, just not how to achieve it. She tells him that she didn't believe his mother, until she saw the signature. She tells him he must not love her anymore or he couldn't have done this.
Eric,Stephanie and Thorne are having a conversation in the Forrester home, about whether Brooke is a bad influence on her children, when the door is flung wide-open and Donna comes tearing in. "Stephanie!!" she screams. An alarmed Thorne asks her what is wrong. Donna bellows, "Has she told you yet?! Ridge has filed for full custody of Hope and R.J!"
Phoebe and Rick fly through the front door of Phoebe's house. She is giggling, "I can't believe they're following us!" Rick replies. "Get used to it you're a big star now." She smiles, "You were on that stage too!" She suddenly becomes serious, as they stand close and look into each other's eyes, she whispers, "I couldn't let you go, you're such an amazing man!" They kiss deeply.
Eric booms, "Full custody?!" Donna says it must have been Stephanie's idea. After Stephanie protests, Donna yells "Enough!" She then proposes that for the sake of the kids could the Forresters and Logans please just get along and stop fighting. "I hope that can happen starting right here in this house the day Thorne and I get married." Stephanie is overcome with laughter..
Back at Phoebe's, Phoebe tells Rick how hurt she was and how she drove herself crazy trying to figure out what went wrong. He says he'll do everything right this time and they start kissing again.
The phone is ringing, but Rick and Phoebe are still making out. Rick tells her to get the phone, but she won't. He tries to stop their session anyway, by telling her he can't do this "because he wants her too badly, I want to make love to you." They exchange a meaningful look and begin to kiss again...
Eric presses Stephanie to realize that the bad blood between the Forresters and Logans can only hurt the kids. Donna pleads with Stephanie that her marriage to the Thorne isn't the problem - it's the two of them. They discuss that there is 20 years of history between the two families. Stephanie informs Donna that there's no similarities between the two of them. Thorne says, "She's asking for reconciliation mother." Stephanie looks on incredulously as Donna suggests that Brooke and Steph stand up for her together at the wedding. Stephanie repeatedly says "No", Thorne is gritting his teeth and warning,"Mother!" She shouts at Thorne, "I would stand in hell first...She doesn't love you!"
Brooke asks Ridge to tear up the petition. "I can't do that." he says. He goes on to tell her that he saw the picture in the newspaper of her and Andy. "Who is it your new boyfirend?" he asks. "NO!" she screams. He goes on, "Talk to me - I was looking forward to telling the kids they could go home. I held back because you seem unstable. It killed me to sign that paper." Brooke interrupts, "Stop, don't talk anymore. Men - you can't trust them, they do what they want, take what they want!" Because he can see how distraught Brooke is getting, Ridge reaches out to touch her, but she goes crazy. He doesn't give in and wraps his arms around her. She collapses against him and sobs. A surprised Ridge asks urgently, "What is going on? What happened?" Brooke, barely audible, says, "I was raped..."
