The Boldface Challenge concert rocks Los Angeles! Brooke fights back against Stephanie.
Thorne and Donna arrive at the concert, they're in a happy mood and talking about how everything looks great. Backstage, Phoebe and Constantine talk, Phoebe is excited to realize that Elliott Yamin and Jon McLaughlin are there to perform. Constantine introduces her to the singers as Rick looks on. C.J. tears Rick's attention away. Ridge and Ashley are backstage speculating about Brooke, and Taylor presents her daughter with flowers and a kiss. Rick comes into Phoebe's dressing room and says that when they sing together - she should believe every single word he sings to her.
Bridget arrives at the concert with Eric and they go to sit with Thorne and Donna. Nick arrives to join Taylor.
In Brooke's bedroom Stephanie is still ranting about Brooke going on a date before the custody hearing. This causes Brooke to flash back in her mind to the home invasion and rape. "I hope it was worth it - I hope it was the best sex you ever had in your life!" Stephanie shouts. Brooke snaps,turning on Stephanie she rages, "Stop it! Shut up! You have no idea what happened that night!"
Constantine takes the stage and kicks off the concert by introducing his dear friend Jon McLaughlin singing 'Beautiful Disaster'.
Jon McLaughlin sits at the piano and plays. When he finishes, the crowd applauds and CJ and Felicia are whoo-hooing; it was a really 'beautiful' song!
Constantine takes the stage again - this time he is perched on a stool, and introduces Elliott Yamin. Elliott sings as Phoebe and Rick gaze longingly at one another, Phoebe looks away in confusion. "Why can't we start over and get back to the way it was...baby I will wait for you..." are the lyrics being sung as Rick and Phoebe exchange more looks. Nick and Taylor smile in the audience, as do Eric and Bridget. Ridge and Ashley kiss backstage. Felicia and CJ smile and do a little synchronized shoulder shrug. Everyone yells and applauds as the song comes to an end.
Still cornered in her room, Brooke turns on Stephanie, "What do you want from me Stephanie? For me to suffer?", Brooke rages, "I am!" Stephanie replies, "No, this is about the kids and their needs." Brooke tells her, "They need their mother.." Stephanie smirks, "Right, and when have you spent time with them?" Brooke says through gritted teeth, "I've tried, you've kept them from me!" When Brooke orders her out and tells her she'll call her brother to get a restraining order, Stephanie plays her trump card - she pulls out the papers and informs Brooke that Ridge will be filing for full custody. Brooke is stunned.
A voice comes over the PA system announcing Boldface Records presents..Constantine! The spotlight shines on Constantine at the microphone - the crowd claps enthusiastically. Felicia looks on adoringly. He finishes "Fading Into You", and the crowd is going wild. Now it is time to announce the winner of the Boldface Challenge. Constantine takes the envelope and says the winner is...
Stephanie holds out the papers for Brooke to see - Brooke won't take them - she tells Stephanie that she has no say and that Ridge wouldn't do this to her. When Stephanie persists, Brooke grabs the papers and sees Ridge's signature on them. Stephanie tells Brooke that she warned her to get herself together - it's her own fault... But Brooke wheels around and glares, "It's not going to happen - no one is taking my children from me - I won't let you!"
