Stephanie indignantly defends her actions.
A very smug Ridge taunts the Marone's.
Nick is sorry he ever trusted Taylor.

At the fashion show, the press is going crazy after hearing Stephanie's voice announce that the man at the end of the runway used to be one of Jackie Marone's "Johns" and that she was a prostitue! Nick rushes up to the stage and demands that Captain Kramer leave. Security guards wisk the older man off the stage while Donna tries to explain to the press that the new Forrester collection has been sabotaged by Stephanie.

Jackie slips backstage to confront Stephanie. The two women throw nasty comments back and forth until Taylor rages in. She caught just the tail end of the fashion show and realizes that Stephanie betrayed her. When Jackie sees Taylor, she tells her that Nick should've never trusted her and storms off. Finally alone with Stephanie, Taylor lets loose on Stephanie for pulling such a stunt.

Ridge, sipping champagne, finds the unhappy Marone board members in the hallway outside of the press room and learns that they are calling an emergency board meeting. Ridge tells them to call him if they want to divest the Forrester Creations from their portfolio before Nick drives it to Chapter 11.

Still loitering around the hallways, Ridge is smugly enjoying his family's victory when Nick finds him and taunts, "Keep doing what you do best…hiding behind your Mommy's skirt."

Back stage with Stephanie, Taylor is more furious than we've ever seen her. Not because of her reputation, she yells at Stephanie, but because of what has happened to her patient and his mother. Stephanie asks Taylor where her loyalties are? Taylor shrieks that she's going to have to think about that. She blames Stephanie for "playing her" for years. First she pushes her off on one son, then the other. When Taylor's actions don't please her, Stephanie cuts her out of their lives. "If this is what being your best friend means, I want out" she shouts as leaves Stephanie behind.

Jackie can't find a safe haven anywhere at Forrester, so she slips back into the showroom, hoping that the press has gone. THey are, but Ridge isn't! He's hanging around, still drinking champagne and happy to taunt her. He tells her that she and her "bastard son" have no one to blame but themselves. He asks if they need new offices…somewhere else…perhaps cozy ones that are suitable for entertaining sea captains. Jackie tells him that they haven't won yet.

Captain Kramer goes backstage and finds Stephanie. She asks if he wants some money before he leaves. He is irate! He tells Stephanie that she lied through her teeth to get him there and now she's insulting him? "I may have done some really lousy things in my life, but when it comes to 'pure nasty', I couldn't hold a candle to you." He leaves. Just then, Nick comes backstage looking for Stephanie and calls her a bitch. He tells her that if she'd come after him it would've been a fair fight. Stephanie tells him that a conservative company like Marone industries is probably ready to flush him down the toilet.

Taylor finds Thorne in the makeup room and lays into him for not letting her know what his family was planning. Nick walks in and tells Taylor that her guilt for killing Thorne's wife should be over now. She has made it up to him by sabotaging Jackie to get their precious company back.

As Jackie is shakily trying to key into her office, Captain Kramer comes upon her. He apologizes for what happened and explained that Stephanie fooled him by saying that Jackie wanted to see him. He said that he was hopeful because there is something he has wanted to say to her for years. She slapped him in the face – something she's wanted to do for years. He tells her that he was married all those years ago. He explained that he gave her money because he couldn't give her what he really wanted to give her. She says that no one is paying her to be with him now and demands that he leave. He obliges.

Stephanie and Ridge have found Thorne in the makeup room, just after Taylor stomped off. He reports that he's already heard they could get the company back within a month. But what good is that if he loses Taylor, he asks them.

Nick goes to the runway in the showroom alone and recalls the total horror of the moment when Stephanie's voice announced to the press that his mother used to be a prostitute. Taylor finds him and tearfully tries to help. She tells him that she had no idea what Stephanie was planning. He tells her that she earned her "Forrester stripes" today. She tries to explain that she didn't tell Stephanie anything about Jackie's past, but that Stephanie eavesdropped outside of her office. Nick jumps at her for not warning him at the very least. She admits that her mistake was letting her feelings for him became more important than her judgment. He quiets down a little and feels sad that his whole past has been dug up again.
Taylor promises that nothing is more important to her than making this up to him somehow.
