In a statement issued by The Bold and the Beautiful, Sarah Brown’s first air date will be on November 5 and her character’s story arc will “touch on a very specific woman's issue and emotionally touch the hearts of the B&B audience.”

Wasting no time between gigs, Sarah Brown, who is leaving her role as Claudia General Hospital, has already found a new Daytime home at The Bold and the Beautiful.

Her last airdate on GH will be November 5 and on November 6, she will appear in the contract role of Sandy Sommers on B&B. Sandy will reportedly be a goodhearted, likeable character who will interact and stir things up with the characters Nick, Bridget and Whip, played by Rick Hearst, Sarah’s former co-star on GH.

According to her Facebook and Twitter statements, Sarah will begin taping B&B, while simultaneously finishing her stint on GH.

Soaps.com congratulates Sarah on her new role and looks forward to seeing her debut in the fictional fashion world.

This is just awful!!! I loved her Claudia Zrole--why is GH letting her get away??? Well, maybe they will have Tamara Braun replace her as Claudia the way she replaced her as Carly--or just bring back Tamara as Carly I cannot stand the Carly they have now--I would love to see that.

Great she is a great actress. One question though, why are they bringing on another woman character? LK is also a great actress and Hunter Tylo as well and they are on the back burner!

I agree with BKLYN, she is a great actress but in addition to the BKLYN mentioned, they also have Leslie Kay (Felicia) on the back burner. I wish they would develop more stories for the actresses they already have.

SInce GH missed the mark with the AMAZING chemistry of Ric and Claudia, I wonder if they will have them romantic on B&B (Whindy?).

I was so sorry to see her leave GH. They never appreciated her on GH. She created two seperate characters on 1 soap opera - no long lost twin for her. No actress has done that before & I doubt that it will happen again. She certainly deserves another Emmy,

I'm so glad B&B snatched her up. Sarah & B&B are a perfect fit, can't wait for her first appearance.
