Just when I thought Brooke and Taylor couldn’t get any more pathetic in their fight for Ridge, the whole wedding fiasco happened. Would you really allow the man you were one word away from marrying continue to live with you even though he couldn’t really say he was one hundred percent committed to you? Ridge didn’t exactly put up a fight when Taylor said the wedding was off, nor did he let Brooke have it for crashing his wedding. If I were Taylor, he wouldn’t even be allowed in my house to pack up his things! But of course she’s allowing him time to figure things out and see who he wants to be with while sleeping down the hall from her. In the meantime, he’s flirting with Brooke at work, who continues to ask where he stands, even though he’s told her a million times he can’t be with her! It’s really too painful to watch. Wouldn't it be great if both women kicked Ridge to the curb and then went out to commiserate over margaritas (virgin for Taylor of course) afterwards? Now that's an episode I want to see!
I’m glad he’s back, but Whip is becoming a little creepy where Jackie’s concerned. He continues to lurk around and break up her make out sessions with Owen, he keeps coming up with sexy photo shoots for her and he moved into the loft directly upstairs from her! Was he this obsessed with Brooke? Which by the way, he didn’t try very hard with her did he?
I do feel bad for Owen, as he is right: Whip does not respect his marriage to Jackie at all. The ridiculous things Whip is making Owen do in the photo shoots have got to be humiliating and Jackie goes right along with them! I am now pretty convinced Owen does truly love Jackie, so I kind of feel bad for the guy, especially when Whip tries to belittle him in front of his more cultured wife. But what was with that look Jackie gave Whip at the end of Thursday’s episode when they were looking at the photos from the shoot? Did she suddenly realize how derogatory they were toward Owen, or did she realize maybe she is a little attracted to Whip? I was a little confused by that and of course they didn’t follow it up on Friday.

Why weren’t Nick and Bridget at the shoot? I’m sure Nick will be none too pleased to learn his mother was in such danger. Speaking of the newlyweds, their sex scene at the office was a little out of nowhere, wasn’t it? They weren’t on all week and then we see them have sex in the office behind a screen. Just a little strange I thought. I would like to see them more though and have Nick continue to be disdainful of Owen, because that’s been pretty good stuff.
Pam was pretty funny hitting on Clarke and I would like to see more of that as well. Not too much though, because then it would be overboard, but it’s pretty solid comic relief. Do you want to see Pam paired up with anyone? Voice your opinion in our sister site’s poll on Soap Opera Fan Blog.
As for the Royalty photo shoot, I assumed Brooke was the queen, since she was in the middle of her sisters in every shot, but she told Ridge she was just a princess and Donna was the queen. I guess a princess trumps a queen in Brooke’s kingdom.
So those are my thoughts on B&B this week. How about you? Feel free to agree or disagree with me below!
