The event was co-sponsored by "The Hot Moms Club" and the "Sirens Society" to raise funds for the Casa Hogar Sion orphanage in Tijuana. The Sirens Society says they are "Surfacing as a new society to better the world through modern measures. We are a unified voice of proactive women who positively influence our world through business and philanthropy." The Hot Moms Club is an organization "Dedicated to bringing mothers together who refuse to fall into the stereotype of the typical American "mom" category. Be they undaunted professionals, unapologetically sexy or simply dynamic women who break the mold, Hot Mom's empower each other to redefine motherhood." The "Still Thankful, Still Giving" event was hosted by celebrities Lauren Holly and Meredith Brooks and was billed as a Celebration of Adoption, Community and Family, and Never Ending Appreciation. The event also featured a silent auction and pajama 'fun' room for the kids! Some of the funds raised were also tagged to help give the Jr. Sirens an opportunity to take a field trip to get hands on experience at volunteering at the orphanage, while seeing the positive impact they can make in the world.
Of course, Hunter and her girls recently suffered the loss of their beloved son and brother, Michael Tylo Jr. in a seizure-related drowning in October, and Hunter has since returned to work at B&B as Dr. Taylor Forrester Marone. Soaps.com feels that Hunter, Bella and Katya are all wonderfully brave and unselfish human beings to be thinking of others, and going out of their way to help others, while they must still be so heartbroken themselves. Hunter is truly an inspiring member of The Bold and the Beautiful family.
