Ivar Brogger (ParsonsNose.com)
Upon researching some of Brogger’s other work, we discovered he has another connection to B&B. Having filmed the movie, “The Thacker Case”, the experienced film and stage actor appears along side Jennifer Finnigan, who, before Ashley Jones took over the role, won the Daytime Emmy three years in a row for her portrayal of Bridget Forrester. Currently in post-production, “The Thacker Case” centers around the mysterious death of a repeat drunk driving offender after his latest DUI arrest.
Hailing from St. Paul, Minnesota, Brogger has also appeared in several television shows including “Shark”, “Bones” and “The Practice”, and had a recurring role in the short lived series “Invasion”, which co-starred Eddie Cibrian (ex-Matt, The Young and the Restless) and William Fichtner (ex-Josh, As the World Turns). His resume also includes small roles in the films “Ocean’s Thirteen”, “Dreamgirls”, “Fun with Dick and Jane” and “Little Children.”
Brogger may have a small part on B&B, but it’s always nice to know a little bit about the familiar faces we see mingling with the rest of our beloved daytime characters. Especially when they have connections to other soap stars!
