Soaps.com has learned that former Days of Our Lives actor Brandon Beemer (Shawn Brady) has landed a gig with The Bold and the Beautiful! The handsome actor, of Irish and German descent, will join B&B in a new role!

Back in 2006, Brandon joined Days of Our Lives as a recast Shawn-Douglas Brady, replacing actor Jason Cook. Therefore, joining The Bold and the Beautiful in a newly created role will be a completely different experience for him! Brandon's last airdate on Days of Our Lives was March 24th, 2008, when he and his lady-love, Belle (Martha Madison) left Salem.

Prior to DOOL, Brandon appeared on CSI: Crime Scene Investigation and on B&B as Seth. He also had roles in the films, "The Brotherhood" and "Material Girls".

There is no word yet on when Brandon's new character will debut on The Bold and the Beautiful, but we'll be eagerly awaiting this information, and will post it in this spot, and in Comings and Goings, as soon as it becomes available!

WOW another DOOL cast member joining the cast of B&B last time that happened with Kyle Lowder the show got so much better! It's gonna be great to see Kyle and Brandon on the same show again especially since they are such great friends off screen. Hopefully Brandon will be a new love interest for Phoebe,just to make Rcik jealous. I will always be a #1 Rick and Phoebe fan though! Long live Ricoebe!

Kyle left Days of Or Lives before Brandon Breemer joined the show. I'm not sure if they knew each other.

imiss him on days either he comes back or jason even though cant wait for jason on gh but good luck 2 branden on bold and he beautiful but do want brady back so he can get with nicole.

I know for a fact that Kyle Lowder and Brandon Beemer are REALLY great friends,just look at their MySpace profiles. I just can't wait to see all the magic that unfolds when Brandon joins the cast,its gonna be great!!

Um.....his role hasn't been announced so how do you know he will end up being Phoebe's uncle by blood? I'm glad Brandon got a job elsewhere now he have to hope for Martha to land somewhere else. I'm not sure if Kyle and Brandon are friends just because of their myspace profiles though he is dating Nadia and she is friends with Kyle.

I thoroughly enjoyed him as Shawn on Days, and I think he and Martha Madison were given a dirty deal. I wish him the best of luck, and continuing success. He'll be missed..
