Donna begs Eric not to end their relationship. He says he has to do this and move on with his life without her. Donna tries to convince Eric that she loves him, but he tells her he’s going back to Stephanie. Donna gets a look of disbelief on her face and reminds him of their kiss last night. Eric tells her not to make it harder than it is and instructs her to leave.

Stephanie comes to Eric’s office believing that Eric has chosen Donna and wishes him the best of luck. Stephanie tells him his life is precious to her whether they are together or not. Eric calls her incredible and notes how many times he’s let her down. Stephanie says they did the best they could and Eric responds that they can do better - he can do better. He announces that it’s not over and they have the rest of their lives to get this right if she’ll take him back. Stephanie starts to tear up and then kisses and embraces Eric. Stephanie tells Eric it wasn’t nice of him to let her prattle on thinking he had chosen Donna. He teases her and they discuss Eric’s coma and the three of them living together in the house. Stephanie says it hurt thinking he was with someone who could make him happier than she could. Eric says Donna couldn’t make him happier and that Stephanie was right. Stephanie responds that she’s always right and they laugh. They share a nice moment and Eric tells her she is the woman for him.

Ridge, Felicia and Thorne enter Eric’s office and learn that Eric chose Stephanie. Eric says he will never forget what it was like to open his eyes and see them all there. He almost forgot what was important to him and he thanks Stephanie. Ridge notes that it’s great to see them happy together again. Thorne privately asks Eric if he feels good about this and Eric says he’s okay about it. He knows the truth about Donna now and he never wants to talk about it again.

After some family bonding, Eric wonders how Donna could cheat on him with Owen and if she ever loved him at all.

No One Can Ever Know.

Eric can’t believe what he’s seeing on his laptop and wonders how Donna could do that to him. He instructs Thorne to bring Donna to him, but Throne tries to stall. Eric demands his son do it and Thorne leaves.

Donna comes to Eric’s office and tells him she’s been waiting patiently for his call. Donna is shocked by Eric’s cold demeanor as he tells her that their marriage is over and that she should get her things out of the house by tonight. Donna assumes his change in attitude is because of his family, but Eric retorts that it’s because she betrayed him with Owen. He furiously tells her to leave, but Donna won’t budge. Eric tells her she’s not the person he thought she was and Donna doesn’t understand why he’s saying these things. Donna cries and begs Eric to believe in her love for him. Eric just continues to lash out at her and tells her he gave up his marriage and his family and came back from a coma to be with her, only to find that she ripped his heart out. He wonders what kind of a woman does that. Donna tells him they had the perfect life until Pam poisoned him. She was alone and Owen comforted her, but it was nothing compared to the love she feels for him. She won’t leave him because she is committed to him, but Eric erupts in anger saying it’s a lie because he’s seen it with his own eyes. Donna wonders what he’s seen and he says, “I’ve seen enough.” Donna tries to get through to him and asks him to talk to her, but Eric won’t. Donna begs him to tell her what’s wrong, confused as to why things changed so quickly. She says whatever he thinks about her and Owen, he’s wrong. She tells Eric he is the love of her life and always will be.

Donna, No!

Tuesday, November 25 2008

It’s a new day and Eric and Donna enjoy some alone time in Eric’s office. Donna says this is the best morning she’s had in a long time. She knew he wanted time, but she didn’t want to give it to him. However, it was worth the wait if he is sure about her. Eric says he will give her an answer and Donna tells him she wants to spend the rest of her life with him. Donna asks him if he knows what he wants and Eric just smiles. Donna realizes that Eric is worried about telling Stephanie he’s chosen Donna and Eric says she is very important to him. Donna understands because they have history together, but Eric tells her they have history too. Donna is happy to hear him say that and says her wonderful morning keeps getting better and better. They reminisce about their good and crazy times together and Eric says it’s a wonderful ride with her. Donna thinks it’s just the beginning and they can pick up where they left off. Eric doesn’t think it will be that easy, but Donna says being with him has never been easy because she’s been trashed by the press and his family. She says she would rather have a lifetime of those challenges than spend one more day without him. Eric tells Donna she was wonderful during those tough times and he’s really proud of her. The phone rings and Eric has to leave to go to the cutting room. Donna tells him they are just one decision from spending the rest of their lives together.

Thorne comes to Eric’s office and opens up the laptop revealing Owen's office. He gets word that the callbacks for models are in his office and before he leaves, Thorne tells Madison to call Eric and tell his father that he needs to see him right away.

On the rooftop, Eric sits at a table and wonders what he’s waiting for. He thinks he needs to call Donna and tell her she is his future. Ashley calls him from the airport to tell him she appreciates the time off he gave her to figure things out. Eric hopes she’s coming back, but Ashley tells him she is resigning. Eric is disappointed and Ashley tells him she is reinventing herself. She’s going to London so she can pack her things up and get her daughter and move back to Genoa City. She tells Eric that she and Victor have found their way back to each other and she needs to figure out who they are to each other now. She thanks him for all the opportunities he gave her. Eric tells her it was his joy and asks her keep in touch.

Thorne and Eric argue over Eric’s decision and Eric orders Throne to take the camera in Owen’s office down and to not tell anyone what they did. Thorne tries to get Eric to change his mind, but while Eric values Stephanie, he wants to be with Donna. Thorne grabs the laptop and points out that Donna is alone with Owen in his office right now and once the camera is gone he won’t be able to watch what they’re doing anymore. Thorne tells Eric to look at the computer and Eric sees Donna and Owen in a close moment. Eric thinks Donna isn’t interested, but Thorne points out she hasn’t left the room. Eric doesn’t think Donna will jeopardize their marriage, but Throne isn’t so sure. They watch as Owen locks the door and then the two of them start kissing. Eric yells at the computer, “No! Donna! No!” and throws things off his desk as Owen and Donna get busy.
