Moving On.

Taylor welcomes Phoebe home who says she might be moving back since the tour is over and Constantine is taking a break. Taylor asks if she’ll be doing the next tour and Phoebe says maybe, but she was pretty busy promoting the “Phoebe” fragrance so he might want someone with more time. Taylor says it’ll be nice to have her home and Phoebe says it’ll be easier to be there now that Rick isn’t sharing her bed. Taylor looks shocked, but Phoebe doesn’t think she should be surprised that she’s still angry and tells her mother that’s why she hasn’t been home.

In bed, Brooke tells Ridge she wants Rick to be at their rehearsal dinner and wedding, but Ridge says Rick is not welcome. Brooke thinks she can talk to her son, but Ridge doesn’t think it will do any good. Ridge gets a call from Phoebe who tells Ridge she’s home. Ridge is thrilled and asks to come visit her at Taylor’s. He hangs up and Brooke notes that all of Ridge’s children will be joining the celebration. Ridge retorts that his kids aren’t trying to break them up. Brooke still wants her son to be there and Ridge relents telling Brooke to go work her magic on Rick and Brooke thanks him.

Taylor explains the family intervention they had with Ridge and how she wanted Phoebe to be there. Phoebe says she couldn’t deal with it because she had finally accepted her and Rick and then Taylor suddenly wanted to get back together with Ridge. Taylor apologizes, but Phoebe says she just wants things to be the way they were. She calls Rick her first love and Taylor promises she will make it up to her because she didn’t know how much she hurt her. Taylor says she will regret it for the rest of her life and they hug.

Ridge welcomes Phoebe home at Taylor’s house and tells her she can’t be gone that long ever again. Ridge notices she’s wearing the barrette he gave her from Sydney and Phoebe says she wears it all the time and thinks about him. She understands now that he was only trying to protect her then and she appreciates it. She tells her father she wrote a song for him and offers to sing it at the rehearsal dinner. They talk about how much they miss each other and Taylor returns to the room with tea and hears them talking about the wedding. Phoebe says she will unpack so they can talk.

A Snarl of Ingrown Branches.

At Forrester, Phoebe works on the computer in Eric’s office and Steffy walks in. Steffy is upset her sister told Marcus’s secret, but because Eric was so great about it, she’ll overlook it. Phoebe warns Steffy to stay away from Marcus since Ridge doesn’t like him. She reminds her sister how their father was with her and Rick, but Steffy says her and Marcus are just friends. Phoebe doesn’t think that will be for long considering how they look at each other. Steffy says Ridge shouldn’t hold his grudge for Donna against Marcus because he is a good guy.

Forresters and Bowling?

In his office, Ridge talks with Phoebe about Marcus and Steffy. He’s upset that Steffy would keep Marcus’s secret from her family knowing it would be a bad situation. Ridge says it’s not like her to do that and that's what worries him. Phoebe can’t believe Steffy would put Marcus ahead of the family. Ridge questions what she knows about Steffy’s feelings for Marcus and she tells him she saw them on a date at the Bikini Beach. Ridge is furious that Donna has sunk her hooks into the family and that now her son is going after his daughter, but Phoebe thinks Steffy and Marcus really like each other. Phoebe thinks maybe if Ridge leaves it alone, it will go away. Ridge says he can’t do that because he has to do what’s best for his daughter and Phoebe looks nervous.

The Secrets Are Out!

At Forrester Creations, Phoebe walks into the S&R department and tells Steffy that her seeing Marcus is a bad idea and that she heard them talking about Donna at Bikini Beach. Steffy says Donna hasn’t done anything to them, but Phoebe says people have a right to know who they are dealing with and says, ”Dad’s taking care of that right now!” Steffy is panicked and runs out.

Something’s Going Down!

The P.I comes to Ridge’s office and tells Felicia, Thorne, Phoebe and Ridge that Donna did give up a baby boy for adoption. They compare names, dates and locations with Marcus’s employee file and conclude that Marcus is in fact Donna’s son. They all agree to tell Eric and Ridge says after tonight Eric will realize he needs to end his marriage.

The Answer We’ve Been Looking For!

In the offices, Felicia, Thorne, Ridge and Phoebe look at marketing ads for Forrester with a photo of Donna and Eric on them, which read, “Behind Every Great Design”. They are furious over them, but Felicia says Donna already approved them. Ridge asks if anyone knows anything more about Marcus because if they can find out what the tie is between him and Donna, maybe they can open Eric’s eyes. Phoebe flashes back to learning that Marcus is Donna’s son, but doesn’t say anything.

Later, Phoebe talks to Ridge alone about Donna and Eric. Ridge thinks Marcus and Donna are covering up some enormous secret and Phoebe tells him they are – Marcus is Donna’s son! Ridge is shocked and wonders how that’s possible. He asks how she knows and Phoebe just says she heard some people talking. Ridge can’t believe that Donna has a grown son and that she’s been hiding it from them. He thinks maybe it’s the answer they’ve been searching for. Ridge calls for a full background check on Donna and is particularly curious to find out if she gave a child up for adoption. Ridge thinks this information will be enough to get Donna out of Eric’s life and tells Phoebe, “The Forresters will be united again.” Ridge thinks Eric deserves so much better than a wife who would hide this from him.
