Everyone Has an Opinion.

Nick comes in and asks Brooke if everything is alright. Jackie blows through the room and announces she’s leaving. Nick can’t believe Ridge got that upset over a photo. Brooke asks him to be more sensitive in front of Ridge and notes that she needs to be more careful when she’s around him. Nick asks where Ridge went and she says he left with Taylor.

Trouble is Brewing.

Jackie comes to Nick’s house with presents for Jack and then Katie takes Jack into the kitchen. Jackie comments how precious Jack is and marvels at how well Katie is doing. Nick credits it to Jack and Jackie asks how Brooke and Ridge feel about it. She assumes Brooke is sensitive to Katie’s feelings, but that Ridge resents Nick. She is surprised Ridge allowed him to have the party at his house, but Nick says he won’t let Ridge dictate what he does with his son and says Ridge was lucky to get an invitation to the party.

Brooke comes to Nick’s house and fawns all over Jack. Katie gets up and takes Jack to get him dressed him for the party. Brooke offers to do it, but Katie won’t let her. She even tries to get Jackie to stay put, but grandma insists she help. Once alone, Nick and Brooke talk about Ridge and Bridget, but Brooke doesn’t want to have either discussion on Jack’s first birthday. Nick wants to work hard at letting the past be the past and put the mistakes they made behind them.

While Katie, Jackie, Nick and Brooke play with Jack, Katie picks up the boy and asks Nick to take a picture of the two of them as Brooke looks on concerned.

Ridge walks into the party as Jackie is taking a photo of Brooke, Nick and Jack. Ridge and Katie both look less than pleased at the family photo and Ridge asks Brooke if he can speak with her alone. After everyone else leaves the room, Ridge tells Brooke he’s upset about Nick hanging all over her and her enjoying it. Brooke says they were just celebrating Jack’s birthday and thinks he’s overreacting. Ridge retorts that he warned her about this. He’s willing to share Jack with Nick, but he won’t share her with his brother – he won’t!

Marcus is on a Mission!

Steffy goes to the hospital and Brooke follows. They both console Ridge and Bridget says there’s no change. Brooke tells Ridge he needs to stop beating himself up. Ridge says he didn’t want Eric to die and he wants him to get better. Ridge needs Eric to come back to them so he can show him how much he loves him. Jackie enters Eric’s room and is stunned by the sight of him. Brooke and Steffy leave and Jackie says she’ll leave too. Ridge tells her she can have some time with Eric and he and Bridget leave the two of them alone. A sad Jackie sits down and gently tells Eric, “None of this would have happened if you had made your life with me.”

The Waiting Game.

At Nick’s, Jackie comes downstairs and talks to her son who is working. They discuss Jack and how he loves the ladies, especially Bridget and Katie. Nick says Katie doesn’t come around too often and Jackie thinks Nick must miss her. They talk about how wonderful both Katie and Bridget are and Jackie slyly says they have a lot in common.

Speak Now or Forever Hold Your Peace.

Donna walks over to Jackie in the garden and says they used to be friends and now they’re practically family, unless of course Nick comes to his senses. Jackie says Nick loves Bridget, but Donna points out that he has feelings for Katie too. Jackie says Nick wants a future with Bridget, but Donna thinks if they get Nick and Katie in a room together, who knows what would happen. Jackie says it’s too late now and demands that Donna not interfere in the wedding.

Brooke comes down to the garden and tells Beth and Marcus that she’s happy to have both of them there. Beth is happy to see her family so happy. Brooke sees Taylor and Rick and they walk over to them. Donna excuses herself and Marcus, and Taylor tells Beth she looks beautiful and comments on what a happy occasion it is. Brooke curtly says Bridget wanted this to be a very intimate occasion and glares at Taylor. Taylor assures her that she was invited by Bridget because she wanted to have Jack here. Ridge walks over as they discuss how wonderfully Katie planned the wedding. Jackie asks if Katie will be planning Rick and Taylor’s wedding, but Rick says they haven’t set a date yet, but they will soon. Brooke is disgusted and excuses herself and Ridge.

You Be the Bride!

Jackie comes over to Nick’s house to talk wedding plans with Katie. Jackie wonders if she is up to the task physically and Katie says she is perfectly fine, she just wants the wedding to be perfect. Jackie is worried about other things besides her health and Katie says all that matters to her is that Bridget and Nick have the perfect wedding. Jackie is skeptical and wonders why she is doing this. Katie wants to do it to make sure their wedding is the most special day of their lives.
