MARCUS WALTON'S HISTORY
Marcus came to town shortly after Donna and Eric’s wedding. He revealed to Donna that he is the son she gave up for adoption and they began working towards a close relationship. Fearing Eric would be upset that she kept her son a secret from him, Donna wanted to wait to tell him until Eric and the family got to know Marcus better. To do this, Donna got Marcus a job in the shipping and receiving department at Forrester where he has caught Eric’s interest, as well as Ridge’s daughter Steffy’s eye.

Wednesday, October 08 2008: Help Me Help You.
Taylor, Rick and Steffy are visiting with Marcus when Stephanie comes in to see if he is okay. Brooke and Beth then enter and everyone learns of Beth’s accident. She assures them she’s fine and then Eric and Ridge pile in the room. Eric asks how Donna is doing and Brooke thanks Eric for his concern. She says now that Donna knows Marcus and Beth are okay, everything will be just fine. Marcus thanks everyone for coming to see him. He then asks to speak with Eric alone and everyone filters out.
Marcus tells Eric that Donna loves him and would give her life for him. Eric responds that he’s having a hard time forgetting what he saw, but Marcus knows the kind of guy Owen is and says he took advantage of Donna. He explains that she felt alone and needed someone when the family shut her out - she just turned to the wrong person. Marcus knows Donna wants to make things right with Eric and hopes he gives her that chance. Marcus asks Eric to at least think about it.
Tuesday, October 07 2008: I’ve Been Watching You!
At the hospital, Steffy tries to make Marcus feel better by kissing him, until Owen comes in and interrupts. Owen finds out what happened to Marcus and thinks he’s kidding when he says he was bitten by a cobra. Owen wonders how the snake got in the crate in the first place and starts asking questions related to Donna. Irritated, Marcus tells Owen to leave Donna alone because she is fine and trying to work on her marriage with Eric.
After Owen is gone, Marcus vents his frustration about him to Steffy. He has a bad feeling about him because he seems obsessed with Donna. Steffy tries to defend Owen and asks if Donna really wants to get back together with Eric. Marcus says she does and thinks Owen better stay away from Donna because he’s bad news. Steffy says she should leave because visiting hours are over, but Marcus playfully wants to forget the rules. Steffy is swayed and starts kissing Marcus again and lays down on the bed with him.
