Pam is Arrested!

Wednesday, March 11 2009

Stephanie is outraged that the Bakers think Pam is guilty, but Pam claims her innocence and agrees to answer their questions. Lt. Baker asks her about her crocheting and Stephanie wonders what it has to do with Rick. Lt. Baker responds that time will tell and asks to look around the premises.

A uniformed cop grabs some yarn samples as Pam again defends herself. Lt. Baker shows her the note left on Rick’s desk and Charlie points out that the stack of surf magazines in the office is missing the one from November. They inform the sisters of the connection and the cop brings Lt. Baker some towels doused in lighter fluid that were found in Pam’s storage box. Plastic explosive material is also found and Lt. Baker sarcastically asks, “I suppose you’ve never seen this before either, right?” Charlie reads Pam her rights and Pam freaks out as the uniformed cops tries to handcuff her. Stephanie attempts to calm her sister down, saying she knows she is innocent, but that she has to cooperate.

The cops bring Pam down the hallway and everyone hears. Donna, Marcus, Katie, Rick, Ridge, Brooke and Steffy come out to see what all the commotion is about and learn Pam is being arrested for the attempts on Rick’s life. Rick spits out, “You tried to kill me?” But Pam maintains her innocence.

At the police station, Pam is brought in and explains that she was angry with Rick but she didn’t take matters into her own hands. Lt. Baker notes that she has before and Stephanie tells Pam not to say anything further. Charlie comes in with new test results that implicate Pam and the cop takes a scared Pam away.

The Work of Idle Hands?

Tuesday, March 10 2009

Charlie comes to see his dad and gives him a tofu dog, which Lt. Baker does not like! He tells his son to get him a real dog and Marcus tells his father to read the report first. The report says the match used to set the fire didn't come from Marcus’ office, but the letters used in the note came from a surfer magazine. They recall that Owen surfs and was fired because of the failed line he was working on and Lt. Baker thinks it’s something he can dig into. He calls Owen, who has just come in from surfing, and tells him he needs to talk to him.

Owen comes to the police station and they question him about losing his job. Owen says he’s angry Rick fired him, but he’s innocent and asks if there is any evidence connecting him to the attempts on Rick's life. They show him the note to Rick with letters cut out from a surfer magazine. Lt. Baker says he has motive and opportunity so it makes him the prime suspect. They question Owen and he says if he wanted to get rid of Rick he wouldn’t do it that way. He claims his innocence again and Lt. Baker asks if anyone else worked with him on the surf line. Owen tells them Pam did and they let him leave.

Charlie comes back with a new report that proves fibers on Rick’s desk match fibers in the note, the glue, and also a yarn used in crocheting. Charlie brings up that Pam crotchets and they list all of Pam’s past crimes. Lt. Baker thinks they should pay Pam a visit.

The End is Near.

Monday, March 09 2009

Rick continues to blame Ridge for trying to kill him, as Steffy defends her father. The Bakers come in, after hearing the bomb explode while interrogating Marcus, and learn Rick thinks Ridge is responsible and vice versa. Brooke tells the cops they have to find out who tried to kill her son and Ridge and Rick both declare they have nothing to hide. Brooke says the cops have the full cooperation of the company and urges them to find who tried to kill Rick.

The Bakers walk the halls and Donna asks if they found anything about who planted the car bomb. Marcus says it proves he didn’t set the fire, but Lt. Baker says they can’t prove the two incidents are related. The Bakers say they have a long list of suspects and Donna insists her son shouldn’t be on it.

The Enemy of My Enemy is My Friend.

Friday, March 06 2009

The cops find matches on Marcus’ desk and wonder what he’s doing with them since he doesn’t smoke. Marcus says they use them for birthdays and such, but the Baker Boys want to take them to the station for testing. Donna leaves to call a lawyer and the Bakers wonder if Marcus has anything he'd like to tell them.
