Obsessing in the Rain!

As Storm and Ashley get into the car and leave the restaurant, Storm thinks back to his earlier conversation with Ridge. Ashley thinks about her conversation with Ridge as well, and his warning, and offers to get a taxi, but Storm tells her to stay put in the car! As they begin to drive away, Storm suddenly hits the brakes and tells Ash that he saw her talking to Ridge at the restaurant. "Did he say anything to you? Anything about me?" Ashley says Ridge just wanted to talk about work. Storm says he doesn't quite believe that and asks Ashley not to let Ridge ruin everything. Ashley says she had a good time and they shared some laughs. "Nothing's ruined!" She again, tries to get out of the car, but he insists he isn't going to let Ridge ruin a perfectly good evening. "I'll take you home!" When they arrive at her home, Storm senses that she is anxious to call it a night. He asks her if she believes in the fun they had that night, or believes in Ridge and what he thinks of him! He suggests a nightcap, but Ashley says 'maybe some other time'. This prompts Storm to say, "You don't trust me, do you?" He kisses her good night and she goes inside. Standing outside the door, Storm realizes that Ridge told Ashley. Inside, Ridge calls and she tells him that she is home safe. He reminds her that he cares about her, and orders her to lock her door. She says she already did! Outside, Storm stands in the pouring rain, obsessing about Ridge ruining things with Ashley!

A Day for Truths!

Storm and Ashley are having dinner together when she jokingly asks him about having skeletons in his closet! Storm then confides that a while ago he did something scandalous, something people would be shocked to find out. He then jokingly admits that when he asked her out to lunch, the meeting he needed to have with her was fictitious. Ashley is charmed. When Storm leaves the table to pay the bill, Ridge sits down with her and informs her that she can't be with Storm. A skeptical Ashley asks him what he is talking about! Ridge then tells her that he fired Storm, and that Storm is the one who shot his mother! She asks why he's not in jail, if that's the case! Ridge says it's a long story, but suggests she end things with Storm without letting him know Ridge has told her the truth. Ashley agrees. Meanwhile, Storm is watching the conversation taking place from behind a post. When Ridge leaves, Storm glowers from his hiding spot! He stops Ridge on his way out and asks what he said to Ashley. Ridge downplays his conversation with Ash, but reminds Storm he told him to stay away from his loved ones! Storm returns to the table, and Ridge thinks to himself, "You're in danger, Ashley. Grave danger!"

The Perfect Family!

Phoebe turns up at Ashley's place to talk to her. Ashley invites her in and they discuss Rick. Phoebe confides that she wants to get back together with him. Ashley assures her that it won't bother her. Phoebe asks if she knows of anyone else who might be an obstacle. Ashley says she hasn't been that close with Rick lately - so she doesn't know. Phoebe smiles and tells Ashley that Rick has been so wonderful and supportive of his mother lately - how could she not love him for that?! Phoebe then asks if there is anyone new in Ashley's life. They discuss Ridge, and Phoebe confides that she feels her dad was happy when he was with her, but now she senses he's not happy - it seems he's always dodging a bullet with Brooke!

Over a Cliff!

At Forrester, Ridge gives Storm 15 minutes to get out of the building. Storm argues that Eric is the one running the company - he'll wait to hear from him! Ridge tells him that won't be necessary - he's fired! Suddenly Ashley comes out of the lab and asks what is going on! Ridge tells her it's nothing she needs to worry about. Ashley spies the papers Storm's holding and Storm says they're the BeLieF papers - Ridge seems to have a problem with them. Ashley notes that she and Storm had lunch today, and everything seemed fine to her! After she walks away, Ridge glowers, "Stay the hell away from Ashley Abbott!" Ridge contends that he knows the real Storm and what he's capable of - he needs to get out right now! Storm accuses Ridge of having always looking down on his family. Ridge says it's not his family - just him! He warns him again to stay away from Ashley, and also says he doesn't want him around Hope or R.J.! Ridge suggests Storm go live with his father in Europe. Storm gets in Ridge's face about him always having to come out on top, and things turn physical. Ridge punches Storm and puts him down on the floor, saying security will throw him out if he doesn't leave! Ridge walks away and Ashley approaches Storm again. He covers up what happened and asks her out for dinner tomorrow night. She accepts.

I'll Get You My Pretty...

At Forrester Creations, Brooke asks Ridge what the big deal is about Storm going on a lunch date. Ridge says he's dangerous! Brooke says he's getting help. Ridge replies that he can't just absolve him of wrongdoing! He says her brother cannot date anyone who works at Forrester! "There's a storm brewing and I don't want anyone I know getting caught in the middle of it!" Meanwhile, down at the lab, Ashley and Storm return from their lunch and seem to have become very enamored of one another - they discuss plans for later! Back with Brooke, Ridge says he won't forget what Storm did to his mother! Brooke says he deserves to find some kind of happiness, but Ridge insists that he's trouble and he doesn't want anyone he cares about anywhere near him. Back down in the lab, Ashley and Storm say goodbye for now. As he leaves, Ashley has a silly grin on her face.

Ridge pays a visit to Ashley down in the lab. She immediately picks up on his bad mood and asks him about it. She says she senses that something is going on with Brooke. He tells her that he knows she doesn't want to talk to him about Brooke and they conclude their business. As Ridge steps outside of the lab, he runs smack into Storm. As Storm starts in on Ridge, the dressmaker cuts him off, telling him that he's fired. Storm is incredulous, but Ridge takes it even further, declaring that he wants Storm out of there, and never wants to lay eyes on him ever again!

Loose Cannon!

Storm visits Ashley in the lab, and although he takes her off guard with his invitation, she agrees to go with him to lunch. Over their meal, Ashley and Storm hit it off in a big way. As they laugh, Ashley says she had no idea he had such a wicked sense of humor! He's great company! As they continue to talk, the conversation takes a turn that quiets Storm as Ashley remarks that you never know what people are really like, and that there are some very dangerous people out there! As Storm listens to Ashley speak, he seems to become very enamored of her.

DisBeLief!

Meanwhile, in the lab, Brooke confronts Ashley about telling Ridge that she is 'sick' and that he should cut his losses. Ashley admits to saying those things, but denies still being in love with Ridge. Brooke throws it in her face that Ridge left Ashley to be with her! Ashley sneers that Brooke seems to be asking her to respect her engagement the way she respected hers! Brooke tells Ashley she likes the way she speaks her mind, and she wants the best for Ashley and her daughter, but that is not Ridge. "I can promise you that!"

Show Your Love!

At Forrester, Ashley raves to Ridge about the Restless Style party she and Felicia attended in Genoa City. She thanks him for taking such an interest in her fragrance line. He suddenly says he actually thinks about her - a lot! She is taken off guard. He admits that he left her because of the promise of a future with Brooke and the children - but that has yet to be realized, and he has found himself to be doing a lot of soul-searching lately. Ash says she supports him, but doesn't want to be his sounding board where Brooke is concerned. She tells him bluntly that he will have to accept Brooke's involvement with Nick. She then asks him if he truly believes in this whole fairy tale with Brooke - because she doesn't see it! Ridge protests that this time will be different. Bridget is back in Nick's bedroom and Brooke is staying with him. As Ashley becomes heated about him taking poor treatment from Brooke, he asks her not to become upset. But Ashley does become upset - shouting that Brooke needs serious professional help! "When she's with you she wants Nick, when she's with Nick she wants you! It's sick!" Brooke, meanwhile, has arrived outside the door and hears everything Ashley says. She continues to listen as Ridge agrees that Brooke needs help, but tells Ashley he still wants the future he dreams of with her - he just doesn't know if it's possible! After Ashley leaves, Brooke comes into the office and confronts Ridge about what she overheard. He reiterates that she is far too involved with Nick and with baby Jack, and until this is resolved, there is very little hope for the future they have been wishing for! Ridge protests that she just can't separate herself from that child! Brooke says of course she can't - it's her flesh and blood! Ridge says the problem is that the father is Nick - the guy she can't seem to get out of her heart. All of them, including Nick, knows that he is still in her heart! Ridge says he can't live with it! Brooke asks why he is doing this. "Are you having second thoughts about leaving Ashley?!"

They Don't Grow on Trees...They Swing From Them!

At Forrester, Ridge encounters Ashley and compliments her on her professional prowess. She thanks him for the sentiment and admits that she had been doubting her decision to work in L.A., but lately has been feeling pretty good about it again! Ridge tells Ash he hopes she won't consider staying in Genoa City when she and Felicia go to the Restless Style launch party. She flirtatiously says things are far too interesting in L.A. lately for her to move back there! As she leaves, Ridge watches thoughtfully. Later, Ridge is surprised when a frantic Brooke bursts into the office saying that they need to talk. He rolls his eyes, saying he assumes this is about Nick and Bridget, and telling her she is too involved in her grown kids lives. Brooke takes him off guard by stating that actually this is about Rick. Taylor has seduced her son! Ridge smirks and tells her she must have been duped, but Brooke continues to contend that it's the truth!
