Taylor is Livid!

Captain Kramer goes backstage and finds Stephanie. She asks if he wants some money before he leaves. He is irate! He tells Stephanie that she lied through her teeth to get him there and now she's insulting him? "I may have done some really lousy things in my life, but when it comes to 'pure nasty', I couldn't hold a candle to you." He leaves. Just then, Nick comes backstage looking for Stephanie and calls her a bitch. He tells her that if she'd come after him it would've been a fair fight. Stephanie tells him that a conservative company like Marone industries is probably ready to flush him down the toilet.

As Jackie is shakily trying to key into her office, Captain Kramer comes upon her. He apologizes for what happened and explained that Stephanie fooled him by saying that Jackie wanted to see him. He said that he was hopeful because there is something he has wanted to say to her for years. She slapped him in the face – something she's wanted to do for years. He tells her that he was married all those years ago. He explained that he gave her money because he couldn't give her what he really wanted to give her. She says that no one is paying her to be with him now and demands that he leave. He obliges.

Fashion Disaster

On stage, Nick introduces his mother to the press. After a few remarks they sit down for the final dresses. Taylor and Ridge arrive just in time to see Donna come out wearing the last dress with Captain Kramer on her arm. Nick jumps up and strangles Kramer on stage as Stephanie tells everyone over the loudspeaker that Jackie was a prostitute!

Secret Plans

As they are talking Kramer knocks on the door. Stephanie greets him and tells him she invited him there for a surprise party "for your oldest and dearest friend, Jacqueline Payne!" Stephanie lies to Jerry and tells him she wanted him there to participate in a tribute for Jackie because Jackie thought so highly of him. Kramer questions Stephanie and mentions that he doesn’t think Jackie is going to be happy to see him. When Kramer asks for details on the event, Stephanie tells him that Jackie runs a successful fashion house that is previewing their cruise line tomorrow. Since he is a ship captain, she asks him to wear his captains uniform if he chooses to come. After some discussion Kramer agrees to come to the fashion show and Stephanie promises to call him in the morning with more details.

This Means War!

After Taylor leaves, Ridge and Stephanie decide that finding Kramer is going to be their ticket to getting the company back. Ridge gets on the Internet and finds a phone number for a Jerry Kramer who has a bar at Long Beach, CA.

Stephanie calls Kramer and confirms that he is the same Kramer from Jackie's past. Stephanie lies ans tells him Jackie has been speaking fondly of him. She asks Kramer to come visit and assures him that coming to visit will be more than worth his while. Kramer reflects on Jackie for a moment and then tells Stephanie that he can make it tomorrow.

After she gets off the phone Stephanie picks up a book up for the fashion show, and mentions to Ridge that the fashion show is the perfect place to come out with this information. "All of Marone's executives will be there. If we play this right, it could be the most devastating day of Jackie and Nicks' life!"
