You Stole My Mommy!

Monday, October 27 2008

Eric and Donna rehash the events of the past few weeks. Donna says she should have found a way to tell him the truth about Pam, but she found the strength to break his heart for his own good, while breaking hers in the process. Donna thinks Pam will spend the rest of her life behind bars, but Eric tells her, not so fast. He fills her in on the scar tissue on her brain, which could have caused her to snap. Donna isn’t so quick to believe this story, as she thinks it’s a way for Stephanie to keep her sister out of jail. Eric tells Donna that he talked to the doctor himself and Pam is going through surgery right now. Donna thinks Stephanie could have paid a doctor off and wants to go to the hospital.

Donna comes to see Stephanie at the hospital and asks her how much it cost her this time. Stephanie doesn’t know what Donna’s talking about and Donna says she won’t forgive Pam for what she did. Stephanie doesn’t care and says Pam has a medical condition that caused her behavior. The doctor comes up and says Pam is out of surgery and things look good. After she leaves, Donna vows she will not rest until Pam is behind bars.

Eric comes to the hospital as well and Stephanie tells him the surgery was successful. The doctor tells them that since Pam is a fugitive, she will be transferred to a secure location. Donna can’t believe all this is real and the doctor backs it up saying they may have found the cause for Pam’s change in behavior.

Stephanie, Eric and Donna go in to see Pam who is unconscious from surgery. Stephanie calls to her and Pam wakes up. Steph assures her she will be okay now and tells her she’s in the hospital. Donna asks Eric where the police are and Eric says they will probably be there any minute. Donna whispers that Pam is dangerous, but Stephanie yells at Donna to be quiet and not say those things out loud because it wasn’t Pam’s fault that she did those things. Pam suddenly blurs out, “Tiny! Where’s Tiny?” Pam wonders who’s taking care of him and Stephanie tells her that Tiny died. Pam gets upset, but Stephanie tells her it happened months ago. Pam doesn’t believe it and Donna tells Pam that she is giving a remarkable performance considering she tried to kill her, her mother and Eric. Pam wonders why Donna is saying these things and says, “I want Tiny.”

The Best is Yet to Come.

Donna continues to worry about what Pam might be doing to Eric, as Owen tries to ease her fears. Donna thinks they should call the police, but Owen thinks that will make things worse. He says they have to sit tight and wait – everything will work itself out and by the end of the night she will be reunited with her husband. Donna notes this isn’t turning out the way he hoped. She apologizes, but Owen says it’s not necessary. Donna can’t take it anymore and calls Eric.

Eric answers the phone and tells Donna that Pam isn’t there, she got sick and collapsed and is on the way to the hospital. He tells her he knows the truth about everything, but he’s going to the hospital to help Stephanie and will call her later.

After they hang up, Owen asks what happened and relieved, Donna says it’s over. She tells Owen about Pam and Owen says she is no longer a threat. Donna hopes not and Owen thinks the authorities will be notified as soon as Pam gets to the hospital. Donna agrees, but says there was something in Eric’s voice indicating that he was really concerned about Stephanie. Owen asks if she’s afraid Eric might not want her back. Donna responds that Stephanie has been there for Eric during everything she’s put him through the last couple of weeks and maybe Stephanie has made some inroads.

Eric goes home and Donna comes to the door. She came as soon as she got his call. Eric invites her in and says that Pam is not doing well, but in spite of everything that she’s done, he feels compassion for her. Donna can’t be that generous because she threatened him. Eric notes that Donna turned away from their marriage in order to protect him and says no one has ever done something like that for him before and he doesn’t know if he will ever be able to repay her for it. Donna hated doing it, but Pam was forcing her. Eric thinks she must have been terrified, but says she could have come to him secretly. Donna was terrified of what Pam would do and thinks Eric is upset with her. Eric counters that what she did was brave and courageous, but very dangerous. “What if something happened to you,” he asks. Donna cries as she says they are both okay and that’s all that matters.

This Is What I've Become.

Donna paces as she waits to hear from Stephanie, but Owen assures her that Stephanie won’t let anything happen to Eric. Donna wishes Stephanie would call and Owen thinks she might not because she might just look at this as a family matter. Donna thinks Eric wouldn’t allow that and just wants reassurance that he is okay.

We Have Issues.
