Nick gives Donna an employment contract, and asks her to be a permanent part of the staff at the new Forrester. Nick tells Donna she is going to be his main model, and a spokes model when needed. He also plans to use her in some management capacities, since she stood up for him and his mother when he needed her. Excited about her new important role in the company, Donna excitedly asks Nick “Where do I sign?”
Stephanie Admits She Has a Problem!
At home Nick looks out the window with a drink and thinks back to Brooke signing the company over to him. Donna approaches asks him if there is anything she can do to help. When she starts to leave he asks her to stay. Donna tells him “I think we've both been fighting a losing battle.” She tells him she's thinking about leaving town, but she is willing to help him in whatever capacity he needs her in at Forrester since Brooke has left him and Jackie is still ill, “Just say the word and I'm in!” Donna tells him that Forrester can succeed with him at its helm. Nick responds, “ You're right! This is doing me no good, laying here wallowing in my own pity, I've got to treat this company like it's my own!”
New Beginnings
Nick comes home and tells Donna that Brooke sold her shares of the company to him as well. “I did it, Forrester Creations is mine. It doesn't feel the way I thought it would”
Taylor is Free!
Donna and Nick talk away from Jackie, and she tells him she think the Forrester's signing over the company is a little extreme. Nick tells her to “Take a look over at the couch, that's a little extreme.”
Revenge
At the hospital Ridge arrives and approaches Brooke, Eric, and Donna. They explain that Donna told Nick Stephanie was responsible for Jackie's fall, the group decides to head back to the house and head off Nick. Donna decides to stay behind at the hospital, telling Brooke she has "something to deal with". Once they leave she makes a phone call, she tells the person on the other end she needs to see them immediately.
Donna meets with Storm. Donna tells him that she saw Stephanie push Jackie over the railing. Donna asks if it is possible to prosecute Stephanie.When Storm tells her that it is possible, Donna responds, “So, Stephanie Forrester could go to prison and never hurt anyone again.” Storm tells her that Stephanie could be charged, but he could not guarantee a conviction. When Donna tells him she just wants to see Stephanie pay for what she's done Storm asks, “What she's done to you, or to Jackie”. Storm tells her that this situation could be problematic for Donna and Ridge. Donna tells him that Stephanie has never respected a Logan, and now it is time to pay.
Once Stephanie hangs up Nick and Storm talk, Storm suggest they try to get money from Stephanie, Nick tells him that he wants Stephanie locked up, just like his mother is in her own body. Donna adds that “people need to know what Stephanie is capable of…finally we can make Stephanie pay and put her behind bars for a long time”.
Watch Out!
Donna and Brooke sit outside of Jackie's room. Brooke begs Donna to hold off on telling Nick. She tells Donna that she ended her marriage, that she's not going back to Ridge either. Donna says that Ridge never stopped loving Brooke. Donna thinks she may be better off leaving town. She has no man, no job-thanks to Stephanie. Donna looks to Brooke, says that Stephanie is going to get what's coming to her.
Donna and Brooke join Nick at Jackie's bedside. Donna apologizes for what Stephanie did to Jackie, asks Nick if he got her message. When he says no, Donna looks to Jackie, tells Nick it wasn't an accident, that she was there, saw the whole thing. Donna goes on to say that Stephanie pushed Jackie, she explains the chain of events as they happened… Nick and Brooke ask if Donna is certain, and she says yes. Nick leans over Jackie, asks her if it's true, if Stephanie pushed her. Jackie nods. Nick kisses her hand, tells her he loves her, says he'll handle it… Nick dashes out of the room!
Brooke is angered with Donna for telling Nick, says that Nick might do 'something.' Donna asks Brooke why she's protecting Stephanie. Eric walks in, says, "Protecting Stephanie from what?" Donna tells Eric that Stephanie pushed Jackie over the edge. Eric can't believe that Stephanie could do something like that. Brooke says she needs to go find Nick.
