The Battle of the Mrs. Forresters Begins!

Later, Ridge and Brooke talk on the phone. Brooke tells him that Donna wants to see Eric and so does she. Ridge says Eric has made it clear that he doesn’t want to see his wife. Ridge also says since she is Donna’s sister, it might be best if she didn’t come by right now either. Brooke understands and they hang up. Brooke tells Donna and she is furious because she is Eric’s wife!

Stephanie comes to see Donna at Brooke’s and tells her she doesn’t want her to call or visit the house. Donna insists that Stephanie can't keep her from her home or Eric. Stephanie says Eric wants to be with his family and with her. Donna defends herself and they argue over what happened. Stephanie tells Donna she came to tell her about Eric waking up, but she saw her and Owen in bed together so she decided she would be the one taking care of Eric. Donna makes it clear she won’t give up on him so easily, as Stephanie instructs her to stay away from “her husband.”

Get Out!

Donna gets Owen settled into Kristen’s room and says maybe she should go to the hospital. Owen reminds her that she just traveled for 14 hours and Eric won’t even know she’s there. Donna takes offense, but Owen says she needs to learn to accept that Eric is gone. Donna says having to let Eric go after only having him for a few months isn’t fair.

Owen tells Donna he thinks that if Eric weren’t a Forrester, the hospital would have lobbied to have him taken off life support weeks ago. Donna still wants to go to the hospital, but Owen thinks it’s pointless and tells her she needs to be with someone who will listen to her without judgment. He tells her he’s there for her, but Donna asks him not to push her. Owen says it’s not all about how he feels about her; it’s that she’s not dealing with the catastrophe that has occurred. He gently says Eric wouldn’t want her to be in this limbo while he slips further away. Donna hopes for a miracle, but she already knows it’s too late. She says, “He’s not coming back to me. I had my dream and now he’s not coming back.” She feels alone again, but Owen says she’s not and she never has to be. Owen kisses her and Donna responds. They start getting more passionate as Eric wheels up and sees them!

Donna and Owen get more passionate and Eric zooms in the room. Donna sees him and Eric gets so upset he has trouble breathing. Owen looks mortified and Donna tries to comfort Eric. The family comes up to the room and tries to get Donna away from Eric. Owen leaves and Donna tries to explain. Eric says, “Out! Out!” Donna begs the Forresters to tell Eric how much she protected him, but they remain silent except for Stephanie who tells Donna she should go. Donna cries and walks out of the room. She stands in the doorway looking at Eric, but Ridge slams the door on her. Stephanie, Ridge, Thorne and Felicia give Eric support and Steph tells him he’s where he belongs, with his family. Eric calms down and grabs Stephanie’s hand.

Forgiveness.

Donna and Owen fly back on the jet from Paris and talk about how successful their trip was. Donna was surprised the buyers didn’t hate her and says she thinks the Forrester children are starting to come around too. Their landing gets delayed because they are fogged in and Donna gets upset that everyone thinks Eric is going to die. Owen says she needs to mentally prepare for it, but Donna can’t give herself permission to let him go.

Donna returns home and Owen says he doesn’t like the thought of her being alone with Pam still on the loose. She insists on staying and Owen says he is too then. Donna agrees and tells him he can stay in Kristen’s room and they head upstairs.

Nick Admits All!

Still in bed, Donna stops Owen telling him it wouldn’t be right. Owen says he’ll stop if it’s what she really wants and Donna apologetically tells him she’s not ready. She thinks Eric could wake up from his coma tomorrow and tells Owen that Eric is the love of her life.

Ridge calls Donna and asks her to come to the hospital. He wants to talk to her about something other than Eric. After he hangs up, Stephanie asks Ridge to handle it because she doesn’t think she can trust herself alone with Donna right now.

Donna comes to the hospital and Ridge brings up Forrester Creations, saying the spring show is coming up in Paris and suggests she take Eric’s place there. He says Eric’s wife being there would reassure the buyers, but Donna doesn’t think she can leave Eric now. Ridge tells her it’s her chance to be the CEO she claims to be and she agrees. Ridge suggests she take Marcus and Owen with her and Donna says Marcus is needed here, but Owen should come along. She thanks Ridge and says maybe when she gets back they can discuss him coming back to the company. After she leaves, Ridge says, “No Donna, when you come back, I pray that Dad will be well and you will be out of our lives for good.”
