Surprise! Stephanie Butts In.

As the family comes together for breakfast at home, Ridge asks Rick if he kept his place in Paris. He says that if this new collection is as big as he thinks it will be, the European division can be launched before too long. Then Ridge tells Phoebe to just grab a muffin and come along with him to drop Hope off at preschool on their way to work. After they leave, it's just Rick and Brooke at the table. She tells him that she saw him and Phoebe talking in the garden half the night. She comes right out and asks what's going on between the two of them. He says that he's just getting to know Phoebe and Ridge doesn't get to be his guard dog. She asks if he saw many women while living in Paris. Yes, he did. They talk about how shell shocked his must still be after what happened between him and Amber before he left LA. Still, Rick acknowledges that he wouldn't be alive if she hadn't given him a kidney. He tells his mother that it's hard for him to get close to people now. "If anything good is going to happen, it's got to sneak up on me," he says. He assures his mother that he and Phoebe are just hanging out. Then he says that Ridge is a hypocrite…after all, he has a little history with Bridget. Then, he sees that he's hurt Brooke's feelings and apologizes for bringing that subject from out of the past. He tells Brooke that he and phoebe can really, really talk, even though she's younger.

Phoebe is a "Faux Forrester."

"Mommy, I ate octopus!" Hope is a cheerful girl as Nick brings her home after their evening together. Brooke coldly wonders how Nick could've torn himself away from his secretive schedule at work. He tells her not to play corporate spy. He says he's not going to give her any information about his plans, he's already given her enough – such as permission to wear Ridge's engagement ring already. She tells him, "If I had gotten everything I wanted from you, we'd still be married."

From One Problem To Another.

On Taylor's terrace, Alexandria tells Hope that Taylor is nice and would have never hurt her mommy. Her daddy wouldn't be marrying her if she did, she says. Inside, Brooke is happy to hear that Taylor plans to go forward with the wedding. The girls come in and decline an offer for cookies and milk, so Brooke and Hope say their goodbyes. After they leave, Taylor asks Allie why she's so quiet. "Hope said something to me…it wasn't very nice," she tells Taylor.

Nick Lands On His Feet. Big Time.

Outside on the terrace, Hope and Alexandria are coloring pictures. Hope says that she heard something, "Taylor ran over your mommy." Alexandria looks shocked.

Stephanie Admits She Has a Problem!

At the Forrester's Brooke and Ridge read a bedtime story with R.J and Hope. Ridge tells them that he loves fairy tales because they always end happily, and “sometimes the same thing happens in real life.” Ridge lovingly touches Brooke's hair, happy that they are once again together as a family.

Another Accident?

Donna brings the kids home from the beach. Brooke tells Donna that she's made a decision about Nick and Ridge. Donna takes the kids upstairs to get cleaned up. Brooke thinks back on the good times with Nick, with Ridge, smiles and nods. Donna brings the kids back downstairs. Brooke talks to them about having missed Ridge and Nick. Hope asks when they're coming back, and Brooke merely tells them that things are going to be much better now, that she promises them that. Donna wants to know more, tells Brooke that she's not being fair by staying quiet, but Brooke leaves her, goes upstairs to get changed.

A Trip To Big Bear

Nick shows up at Brooke's, and Hope runs into his arms. He tells her he needs to talk to mommy, and the nanny takes Brooke outside.

Can He Stay?

Jackie spends time with Hope until Brooke and Nick come home. When they return, Jackie takes Hope upstairs, leaving Brooke and Nick alone.

DON'T ASK DON'T TELL

As the fire continues to spread through the living room, Stephanie focuses on nothing but getting the truth from Taylor...¦.asking her if she was drunk and did she kill Darla. Taylor says that she will tell her anything she wants if she will just cut her loose. Stephanie says that she wants the truth. Taylor tells her to at least help Hector if she won't help her. Stephanie insists that no one is going to die here unless you don't tell me the truth. Taylor hysterically cries out yes, yes I killed her! I'm sorry, please just help us! Stephanie is in shock and just keeps repeating that she can't believe she did this and said nothing. Taylor says that she tried to tell Thorne the truth and Hector did this to her. Stephanie grabs a knife from a work apron and tells Taylor to shut up. She takes the knife and cuts Taylor loose. As Taylor and Stephanie try to free Hector, more of the ceiling starts caving in. Stephanie pulls Taylor from the house telling her that they have to get out of there. As they run away from the house, the rescue squad arrives. As the squad prepares to enter, there is an explosion from inside the house. The firefighters break through the windows and enter the burning house. They find Hector trapped on the floor and bring him out of the house. They rush him to the ambulance as Taylor notices that his face is covered. They inform her that he is alive, but that his face was injured by the explosion of flammable liquids. As Taylor tries to run to the ambulance, Stephanie grabs her and says she had done enough for Hector and that she is coming with her.
