Don't Let Me Die Here.

After Ann has trouble getting back to the car at the beach, Pam and Stephanie help her to a bench. Ann says she doesn’t have any more medication, but asks about medical marijuana. Stephanie calls Taylor to see if Ann can stay at the house and if Taylor can take a look at her. Taylor says it's fine and the Douglas women head out, but not before Ann snipes at Pam for forgetting her bag.

At Taylor's house, the women get an agitated and pained Ann situated in her room and Taylor questions Ann about what medication she was taking. Ann says she's stopped taking everything and Taylor offers to prescribe her top of the line pain meds. Taylor and Stephanie go downstairs where Stephanie tells her friend Ann doesn't want to go to the hospital because she doesn’t want to die there. Taylor says Ann's prognosis isn't good, but assures her they will keep her as comfortable as they possibly can. Stephanie and Taylor then go to the pharmacy, where the pharmacist questions Taylor and Stephanie about the medication she's prescribing.

Pam stays behind with her mother in the bedroom, who says, "Those fantasies you had about smothering me with a pillow? Now would be the time." Pam polishes Ann's nails, as Ann asks Pam if she found what she was looking for by moving to L.A. Pam says sometimes it's important to just be on your own and Ann recalls she always took care of her and says she wasted her youth by doing so. Pam gets teary as they talk about the past and her father and then Ann screams out in pain. Pam frantically calls Stephanie, but she misses the call, so Pam calls 911. When the EMTs get there, Pam insists Ann doesn't want to go to the hospital, but they have no choice. After the EMTs take Ann away, Pam tortures herself by thinking about her mother demanding she not be taken to the hospital. Stephanie and Taylor return and Stephanie goes upstairs to find a distraught Pam who tells her there is a clot in Ann's lungs so the EMTs took Ann to the hospital. Stephanie goes off on her sister wondering what she's done.

Taylor, Pam and Stephanie go to the hospital and meet with Dr. Lewis, who tells them they know about her Do Not Resuscitate order, but Ann has a pulmonary embolism which probably has more to do with her age and inactivity, than her cancer. Dr. Lewis wants to resolve things before they send her home because they are much better prepared to take care of Ann there. Pam and Stephanie go in to see their mother and Pam cries knowing she will hate this. Pam doesn't want to let Ann die, but Stephanie says they have to do what their conscience tells them to. Ann wakes up and asks what have they done. She says, "Whatever I did to you, don't let me die here." Stephanie tells Ann the doctors won't release her and Ann cries, "Let me out."

Make a Mark.

Taylor has breakfast with Steffy and Thomas on the Forrester rooftop and tells them the company is their birthright. They discuss Katie as their boss and Taylor suggests they make their mark. Steffy says she has an idea for a new line and Thomas is reminded of their meeting and they run off.

A Star is Born.

Taylor comes to see Ridge in his office at Forrester and notes the media frenzy. He bemoans Bill buying them out and Thomas and Steffy join their parents. Taylor wonders how Brooke and Donna are handling Katie being CEO. Rocco comes in to see if Ridge wants to be involved in the Royalty shoot, but he declines. Thomas wonders how Katie became CEO and Ridge says, who knows, maybe Katie will be the best thing to happen to this company; he’s just not sure of anything right now. Ridge tells his kids the company is their birthright and he won’t let Katie or Bill take it away from them.

Just Like Brooke?

At home, Steffy tells Taylor she’s concerned about Owen and Jackie and Taylor tells her not to get involved in their marriage. Steffy informs her Owen confides in her and that he wants a baby, but Jackie doesn’t. Steffy wonders how he can be happy in a marriage if he has to give up something that big. Taylor doesn’t want her getting involved with a married man, but Steffy says that doesn’t mean she can’t worry about him. Taylor reminds her how Brooke ripped their family apart by worrying about Ridge and saying she was the only one who could understand him. Taylor won't let Steffy turn into Brooke and Steffy apologizes and assures her mother she will back away from Owen.

Team Stephanie.

Taylor doesn't want Stephanie to move out and says she won’t let her go by herself. As they debate it, Bridget, Pam, Owen, Whip, Nick and Jackie come in dressed in cheerleader and football player outfits. They do a cheer for Stephanie and reveal T-shirts with her photo and ‘Team Stephanie’ written on it. Stephanie continues to stick to her guns, but they all rally around her and insist they are there for her. Stephanie says she can’t physically do this, but Jackie tells her they were there for her when the company was going under and now it’s their turn to help her. Jackie says she matters to them and they want to see her happy and back to being her bossy, stubborn self. Nick tells her Jackie M is family but it’s incomplete without her. Stephanie thanks Nick for extending a hand when she needed it and tells Jackie she taught her a lot about forgiveness, and even though this was all very charming, her recovery will take months. They assure her they will help her and Stephanie can’t believe how extraordinary their motley crew works. She thanks them for picking her back up and agrees to be the leader of the pack once again. Nick tells her he wants to welcome her back, but she has to do the cheer with them and Stephanie reluctantly joins in.

Don't Make Me Choose.

Taylor tells a suitcase toting Stephanie it’s a great idea to go away for awhile, but Stephanie tells her she isn’t going away, she is moving out because it’s time to get on with her new life. Jackie comes to the house upset Stephanie left the company, but didn’t tell her why.

Stephanie leaves to grab the rest of her things so she can leave and Taylor returns to the room. She tells Jackie Stephanie loves everyone at Jackie M and working there. Jackie notes Stephanie seems sad and Taylor says she’s more afraid and she is afraid for her too. Jackie realizes Stephanie is ill and Taylor says she can’t discuss it. Jackie presses her and Taylor admits Stephanie had a stroke and is aware of the chances of another reoccurrence. Stephanie comes to the top of the stairs and hears Taylor explaining how Stephanie doesn’t want to feel vulnerable.
