Bribed Dr. Mark MacClaine to help her fake a heart attack. Held a gun on Brooke and tried to get her to kill herself. Keeping quiet about Taylor's role in Darla's death. [August 2006] In a fight with Jackie Marone, accidentally pushed her over the balcony. Pushed Andy Johnson to pursue Brooke and gave him inside information. Numerous manipulative acts in her attempts to get Brooke Logan away from her family. Assisted Ridge in the cover-up of Shane McGrath's death. Pam Douglas Crimes committed- Accidental poisoning Eric Forrester Attempted Murder of Donna Logan - held at gun point and bear 2nd failed Attempted Murder Donna Logan (with Snake) which bit Marcus I feel certain sympathy toward Pam. She is Forrester (by marriage  ), but at least she has severe brain desease which causes her actions.

It is most unfortunate that this poster lacks the human capacity to express sympathy for a mentally ill person and that he/she does not understand in addition to that mental illness, Pam was a victim of child abuse just as her sister was - a sophisticated understanding of that subject matter would put the above issues mentioned into a better perspective. For example, as a child who was a silent witness of the abuses of her father, perpetrated against Stephanie, Pam was unable to protect her sister. The emotional trauma she experienced then has resulted in her being the woman she is today when believing she has to protect Stephanie at any and all costs. It is unfortunate that this poster cannot express an ounce of compassion or sympathy for Pam who is ill and who obviously needs immediate medical attention. Some people just dont understand and are not familiar wich such cases. I dont think it makes them wrong, if they simply do not know. I think Pam is well enough that she can function in society, but is entitled to some special consideration in a trial. And should get medical attention instead of prison. But another thing with Pam is she would threaten Donna even when she was "well" and taking her pills. She was even with it enough to conspire and to run away.. So thats up to the Jury if it goes to court. Because I cant really call it. |

I am other side - I have always felt sympathy toward mentally ill villains! Can´t help it!  Now in OLTL I hope Brody gets help, not prison!

Kidnapped Rick and Bridget and fled to Barbados Okay, what dummy over at soapcentral wrote this one. Brooke fled to Barbados alone. She was delusional when Ridge found her with two dolls she believed were Rick and Bridget. Trapped her son into kissing another girl to break up his relationship with Amber Okay, the same dummy wrote this one. Nobody traps Rick Forrester into kissing anybody he doesn't want to. Beth did hide the fact that Stephen's used the excuse that he was dying to get Brooke to move to France. Are these female characters the only ones to have committed crimes? |

You are right that not all mentally ill are dangerous - except in fiction, horror genre for example is filth where mentally ill are always villains and author with mind like a sewer can exploit mental illness  - but I think that Pam HAS serious, disabling brain desease and it is not impossible it has something to do with her emotions like irrational hate toward Donna.
