Quote Touched: Quote outland: Quote Touched: Wasn't Bridget supposed to be the baby's godmother before everything went down. Why can't a sister be a godmother? Is there some law preventing that? If Bridget can forgive Taylor for schlepping with Nick on the sly, then why can't Taylor forgive Bridget? Is Taylor such a cold and unforgiving woman that she can't get past that? Bridget is about the only one that hasn't objected to her brother's choice in women! Would that go unnoticed by Taylor? I thought she was a more gentle and forgiving woman that what you all are portraying her to be! Bridget was involved in the egg-switch and was standing against Taylor from getting her baby back. Storme was Nix's attorney, Brooke tried to steal her baby from her.. I don't think that she wants any of them near her child.. she has to accept Bridget because she is married to Nix, but the rest? Taylor asked Ashley to be Godmother at the last stand of the things and she did that because she no longer trusted Bridget. Now if she would let Katie do it? Don't know, my guess is that Nix and she will find a mutual guardian. Oh, can you explain this to me? If Bridget can forgive Taylor for schlepping with Nick on the sly Bridget was the one who was doing everything on the sly.. Taylor had just gotten her child back and Bridget didn't even change the bedsheets, nothing like giving the guy time to take a shower or so..she was right in there, giving him what she thinks could keep him by her side... As we see, that didn't bring much, did it? Taylor knew Bridget had unresolved feelings for Nick when they began their affair? She even stated that she knew it. Neither pubicly aired the affair or that they were a couple. Bridget accidently found them kissing, and man she went ballistic and let them have both barrels! One of the few times, we have ever seen Bridget with a backbone! I don't remember Bridget taking any particular side in the custody battle. She was just there, as were other unwanted individuals, for Taylor to point a finger at. She didn't purposely mix up the donation. As for Bridget hopping in the sack with Nick before the sheets were cold...that is a common event on this show. I almost threw up when Ridge and Taylor hit the sheets, right after he "chose" her over Brooke. Did anybody think to change the sheets first? Her necklace was there as a reminder, while they were doing it! I would have ordered up an entire new bedroom suite first! Shoot, her sheets weren't even cold when she was freezing to death in all her glory while putting a smile on James' face! So, every relationship that breaks up, is still a property settlement or what? Nix was rebounding from Brooke when he kept on hounding Taylor. Bridget got jealous and went off... she had no rights over him or his life. No one was obligated to take heed of her messed up obsession with this man.. so I dont know what you are speaking about... As for Ashley, she doesn't abuse this kid.. isn't hounding Victor and is living quite happily with her. I don't think that Taylor would hold this against her, then Taylor knows that she herself is no unwritten page. As always, you go to china for the cup of tea that is being served a the local coffee shop. Your arguments are ridiculous and hold no bearing on the actual topic. Fact is, Bridget switched the eggs... she did not do her job properly--- which includes: Right Person Right Procedure Right Specimen Right Time of execution Right Documentation She did not check to see that any of these were right and is therefore responsible for the botched-up IVF... Whether or not she did this on purpose is yet to be seen, in any case that she knew about the switch and kept it from the patient is unethical and grounds for a lawsuit. She would have kept this secret if Jack were not ill. Then, she told her Mother.. Nix, Rick and discussed it with the Janitor... BEFORE informing the patient. For these reasons alone, it is a breach of confidence and therefore trust. When it came to choosing between the two, if Ashley took the sperm or not, she hasn't given anyone reason not to trust her. That point is null and void. Besides that, no one knows just how close the two were off screen... being that they both said that they were having contact. Bridget is lost in her fantasies, she knows no boundaries and imposes herself into all kinds of situations where she does not belong. Here she is overstepping, being married to the baby's father does not give you the right to make decisions and long time plans for him, unless you have legally adopted the child. She has a lot of nerve... she should rather be checking up on her man and leaving Katie, a grown woman, to tend to her own business, as she should step down from her high horse where Jack is concerned... Egg-donors have no say; neither her mother nor she have the authority nor the right to be determining what or what not is going to happen in Jack's life.... |

Blabbermouth Bridget needs to just shut up. Now she's telling Brooke (not kin to Eric)about Eric's diagnosis. Now she's going to tell Ridge about the diagnosis, she is NOT the specialist that was flown in for Eric and NOT his family doctor. This bumbling idiot needs to sit down and take off her stethescope and leave town! |

I get that Bridget was just trying to be nice but I think that kid has enough parents. Not only that, Taylor asked her to be the God mother until she found out about the egg mix up so I don't think it'd be a good idea to have her suggest Katie. But she would be a nice candidate because she does spend a lot of time with the little guy anyway. I bet that's what Bridget was thinking. But she should just leave that to Nick and Taylor. |

Let me ponder over the adjectives used to describe Taylor in the past. |

Quote Touched: Let me ponder over the adjectives used to describe Taylor in the past. Category A: Kind, loving, good mother, generous, forgiving, good wife, good person, beautiful, giving, strong, independent, smart, oh, and perfect! As opposed to Category B: Carries a grudge, unforgiving, vengeful, single-minded, vindictive and completely oblivious to what is going on. It's becoming unclear in this thread as to who she really is, because a person cannot fit into both categories! Touched my friend, I haven't met a real live Angel nor Devil in my whole life, rather- only humans. Theses Beings encompass both positive as well as negative properties... in theory the psychoanalysis, the human psyche has three egos.. the super ego... the socially correct, the id= basic instinct based on desire and motivation, the ego.. the balance between the two. Were the human only good or only bad.. it would not survive in the world, one has to adapt to the society in which he lives, allowing the rules taught the superego to lead the way to a social acceptance, while the individuality in the Id serves as a source of reflex to the surroundings, the ego levels out the two extremes in a normal person. Should one be beladen with only one or the other, they are considered psychologically impaired... tend to suffer under psychiatric illness and socially unfit. I say this, because your statement is atypical to human nature... and yet again... not valid. But, you know what? I love exploring all kinds of things with you.. it is really great. It is the voicing of opinion here, with respect and dignity that makes posting so much fun... so, now... it is your turn. PS: Please excuse the grammatical errors.... |

No matter what way you spin it it's still not Bridgets place to be offering up Taylors child. And why would you want to 'let' someone be the Godparent to your child as a favor to someone else? |

Quote Briar_Rose: No matter what way you spin it it's still not Bridgets place to be offering up Taylors child. And why would you want to 'let' someone be the Godparent to your child as a favor to someone else? Just because Bridget wants to act like Katie's mother and give her the world and a few kids too, to cheer her up that means Taylor has to do it too? How strange? 'Katie's feeling really down, let's give her baby Jack part time' Why not offer her own child, her and Nick are trying why not tell Katie that. No matter what you say Bridget still has no claim to that kid and no right to offer him up. And Taylor's not any less of a person or mother if she refuses Beautifully said, Briar... that is the issue and the topic. Exalt to you! Sometimes it is better to just simply cut the chase! Thank you! |

I was following you all the way. There's just no way around it, she has no right, or reason to offer up someone else's child THAT ALREADY HAS A GOD MOTHER! |
