Has everyone forgotten how Donna schemed to marry Thorne and would have if it hadn't been for Katie! Then she went for the money hunk. Eric would roll over if he knew she had fired his kids. Even his "other brain" would override that decision. You'll be sorry Donna and I hope you fall hard! You and Owen are two peas in a pod. He is scamming against you like you scammed against the Forresters. You'll get yours and I hope it is soon!! |

Quote nicabelle: Donna being money hungry?? really? Donna might be a lot of things but she hasnt come accross as that at all. This might not be considered by some as 'money hungry', but consider the fact that she just promoted her son Marcus to Thorne's job. Thorne is in charge of the entire shipping operation of a international company. Does anyone have any idea what that entails??? Marcus is a mail clerk for goodness sake. All he has done is deliver in-house packages and letters(unless he has a degree in transportation logistics with a minor in international treaty negotiations that we don't know about). Now he will make at a six figure salary shipping and receiving materials and products throughout the world for a multi-million dollar conglomerate in a timely fashion??? The ramifications of this decision alone will destroy FC and Donna. |

There is no head designer or design team - Eric and Ridge are out of the picture. "Public confidence" in FC's has declined. FC's no longer exists - yeah, go Donna! The company is in turmoil. Marcus will have nothing to ship and/or receive except bills that can't be paid. The public is already weary of Donna with sales down - can you just imagine what their reaction will be towards her when taking over the company with Eric in a coma AND with her firing all of his children! Let the buyer beware. |

I don't think Eric would be all that upset to know that his kids were fired, he had to have been considering sending the dingbats to the room for two weeks, just to get some relief! |

Ridge wanted ownership to get FC back on track, why couldn't he and Brooke step up do their "magic' without taking over the company? He is a self centered SOB ! I applaud Donna for looking out for Eric's interest in HIS company and not just handing it over to the arrogant Ridge. I think Ridge and Brooke are just looking out for themselves and not taking into consideration what Eric really wants. Why else would he have given Donna the POA? |

I think Ridge and Brooke are just looking out for themselves and not taking into consideration what Eric really wants. Why else would he have given Donna the POA? Ridge said it so correctly: He was trained to take over FC from the time he was a toddler, barely able to look over his "father's" desk. And he worked his way up. There is no job in the company he couldn't do if it were necessary. So HOW LONG does Eric want Ridge to go on waiting in line to get what is rightfully his? Perhaps not by birthright, but by working really hard for it. Isn't it better to give with warm hands, rather than with cold, so that you can SEE and ENJOY the success the one whom you gave to, is having?! Eric is clinging to his company like a drowning man to a piece of wood! He has had his time. He made FC what it is now, so why not give over to a younger generation with new ideas and let a fresh wind sweep through old hallways? |

FC's no longer exists - yeah, go Donna! The company is in turmoil. Marcus will have nothing to ship and/or receive except bills that can't be paid. Good point. I was only thinking in terms of how Marcus was going to be able to coordinate the shipments of fabric, thread, buttons, ect. to the Forrester sweat shops in small Central American villages where three-years-olds make $.10 a day. Then he would have to get the finished products to the distribution centers and then to all of the top couture houses in Europe (as well shipping the future discount line that Donna will market to Wal-Mart). But, silly me...there will be no more product because no one will buy FC garments after this scandal; so Marcus is in the clear. Those poor orphans though...how will they make their dime a day? |
