DONNA DIDNT MAKE A MISTAKE!

Making a buisness desicion based soley on personal feelings is a mistake no matter how you cut it. Don't get me wrong I think Donna had every right to be angry, she did. But firing everyone like that was cutting off her nose to spite her face.

Well the Forresters- will take revenge it is in their nature...I remember Donna said as long as I have breath...the company would be Eric's, until he is ready to give it up. You saw yourself he said; he wasn't ready to step down. You also know, if Ridge took over, the plan was to let Eric stick around for "PR" but Donna wasn't going to welcome at FC. They wanted her to leave- so she just did what Eric's wishes was. Donna is Eric's POA, he made that decision without even telling her. He left he to make decisions for her....and I think she made the only decision that made sense.

I do agree that Donna should not have signed the company over to Ridge and Brooke. He had changed his mind, of that there is no dispute. I do not however think Donna should have kicked them out of the company. That was not her brain talking. That was her emotions based on what Felicia had done. I further agree that Felicia was way out of line. I just don't think Donna should have reacted the way she did. To me the smarter thing to do if she wanted to boost customer confidance would have been to present a united front and then tell Felicia, in private that she knew what she had sone and if she tried anything like that again then she would be out. Not lumping Ridge and Thorne in with her.

Quote calliope: I was happy to see the Forrester divas get a good slap but who will design? Donna questioned herself after she made the announcement. If only Ridge, Thorne & Felicia hadn't insisted on all of the pie things may have gone differently. Donna felt they were betraying Eric. I think she should have kept Ridge and Thorne on in some capacity but shown Felicia the door.

If Felicia had been the only one to get fired I might have been more supportive. I still thnk it should have been donei n private though, not in front of the press. It just further shook the buyers faith.

I totally agree, and if it weren't personal why didn't she get rid of Brooke too. It was her AND Ridge's idea to move Eric aside and let them take over. She should have used her power to have Rick take over completely and let the other children remain in their places.

What experience does she have to run a business? Eric can trust Rick so he should be the one to run the company.

Ridge, Brooke, Thorne, and Felicia right now cannot be trusted but they need to remain on board for the company's sake because they aren't going to do anything to hurt the business.

That may have been her smartest move. Rick has proven he is supportive of what his father wanted and was not out to take over ownership of the company. He has experiance, he could have handled being in charge and kept Ridge and Thorne especially in key positions to stabelize things. I don't really think Felicia plays all that important a role in the company. If she had been axed for her actions it would not have been all that big a loss.

I agree but Felicia is Eric's daughter and if she needed to be taught a lesson and fired it should have come from her father. What she did didn't have anything to do with the company anyway, so the only reason she's been fired is because Donna wants to get her away from her.

I can't blame Donna for her reaction where Felicia is concerned. I think Eric may well have had the same reaction as far as Felicia is concerned. I think what Donna did with Ridge and thorne however was emotionaly motivated and a big mistake.

Not only that, Ridge and Brooke did nothing behind Eric's back. They came up with this idea but they didn't want to throw him out, they wanted to take over running the business and they told him about it. Why can't Ridge run the company? And Brooke's proven herself.

Eric changed his mind and Donna knew that so it was right for her not to fork over the company to them but what right did she have to fire him- and THORNE!

Thumbs up for Donna, that family has hurt her family so much from the mom and dad to Brooke and now Donna, good for Donna. What the heck is up with Ridge he seems so evil and scary looking these days and i can not believe Brooke Miss Queen Bee.
Donna married Eric because she really loves him and he loves her. What in the world is wrong with that. Stephanie treated him like a piece of trash a lot of the time, Donna treated him the way a man should be treated and vice versa.I hope Eric recovers and he and Donna run forrester until he is really ready to give it up on his own terms.
I can not stand that snake felicia.
Great Job Donna Forrester.

I appluad Donna's choice to not sign over the company and do what Eric wanted. But I think firing Ridge and Thorne was a huge mistake that is going to hurt her. Felicia deserved to be fired after what she pulled, and let's face it she is not an intrigal part of Forrester Creations. But Ridge and Thorne are. While I don't agree with Ridge trying to force Eric's hand I don't think he should be forced out of the company either. He is the head designer and Thorne has a relationship with the buyers. Donna get a big head, with Owen's help and desided she was going to take over everything and she simply does not have the knowledge or experieance to pull it off.

Stephanie should have had the ownership.
Forrester Creations belongs to her just as much as it belongs to eric.
Donna has no experience in this creation!

I doubt Stephanie has any ownership-- if you recall they were divorced....she took the beach house. I am sure she got more, but Eric was the only owner of FC. (and his lovely wife Donna - who in most states owns 1/2 of everything in a marriage.
