i love eric&donna together because she makes him happy and she inspires him. i hate ridge but yet...if eric steps down he's still the top designer and owner. and he'll have more time with donna and won't have to hear his family saying mean things about his wife all day everyday. and plus brooke is great at what she does with the company, and the press loves her. AND she once had all the control of the company and made them a fortune! Eric will still be important. top designer&owner is a big deal. ridge will never design as well as eric!! as much as i dislike ridge, i'm fine with eric stepping down..

I was thinking the same thing when I was watching Ridge and Brooke yesterday. Ir might be time for Eric to step aside but still be very much involved. That would get Donna out of the childrens line of fire but still let him contribute.

Brooke & Ridge are at a point in their lives that it is time to grow up and settle down abit. They could be the next "Forresters". I think it is time.

Yawn, didn't the Forrester's do this dance before????

That is a wonderful idea let Eric spend more time designing and w/Donna, and let Ridge and Brooke be the next Forresters to step up to the line. I think that Ridge and Brooke gets married and take the place of Eric and Stephanie. New roll, new direction, new beginnings.

If he were to suggest that Eric step down to spend more time with Donna and give he and Brooke the reigns over the business, it would be a whole different show. Unfortunately, Ridge is barreling in like a bull in a china shop. Takeovers are never friendly!

I haven't seen todays show yet but I can just hear Ridge. Preaching and lecturing instead of just presenting the idea to Eric.

I'd like Eric to turn over management responsibilities to Ridge & Brook, but Eric maintains the company in his name and he designs and spends more time with Donna.
But I don't want him to turn over the company in Ridge & Brookes names, Eric has 2 other sons he has to consider, IMO.
