The Bold and the Beautiful - MESSAGE BOARDS

You can thank Susan Flannery, because it her idea to change some aspects and update some shots, plus adding the music cues. It is an effort to appeal to the younger audience. I'd say, she's got it! It's very appealing to me, but I'm old, so let's here from some younger audience!

I don't think I've seen the new look yet. Was it on today? I notice they are starting with a look of the city, is that it? If so I like it. (But I'm old too!). I just want that awful music to go away. I have always cringed when the music starts and for years before I taped, I muted it.

I hope they don't carry the "new look" too far like GL has. It sucks

I have noticed some however I have been missing episodes so I cant fully comment yet. I am younger and dont have a problem, I sorta like the music. I would like them to update the storylines, I am bored for some reason.

So far I ain't liking it but we'll see. I don't like those "sped up" sequences. The thing today with Steffy and Marcus trying to get from one building to the next all sped up like a 1920's movie was annoying and the music totally sucked. I ended up fast-forwarding through the entire sequence. Are they going to start filming the entire episode on that stupid patio/gym area Donna came up with? Please, please I hope they do not go overboard. Trying to appeal to the younger audience at the expense of us veteran watchers who stick with this show through good and bad is a bad idea. I don't want this show to turn into a GL style show - that is awful.

I hope and pray that B&B do not go the way of Guiding Light, Those scenes, themes and locations sucks. B&B has it's own problems with sl and charactors. B&B still gives the illusion of grandore and riches which GL has abandoned, resulting in a slezey looking show. Please. Please. Don't adopt GL's failures and features. It is not working for them, what makes you think they will work for B&B?

Susan F you rock !! Leave it to the older vet to try to put new life in the show. Kudos for her for not sitting on her rocker.

I like parts of the new look - although there's a mix of 'enh' mixed in with it; for example, the quick clips of the city shots are fine - but it would make sense if they were going to the parts of the city that was shown - yesterday they showed Insomnia...and there was no one at Insomnia - instead they went to Marcus & Stephy who were at FC...- the music is fine with me adds some energy - but these types of sequences sometimes can be looked at as time fillers in my eyes.

I like the patio - some outdoor shots are good - makes for variety and adds to the 30 min. show. Kudos to Susan F. for taking the initiative on exploring different looks!
