Any guesses on what could be going on with Beth?

I was thinking maybe Katie could be Angela, but the father is Stephen. But that would mean the writers would have to rewrite history very drastically. |

I recall when Brooke had her mental breakdown episode when she found out that Bridget wasn't Ridge's, and she escaped to some island, playing with dolls...etc...perhaps Beth is having a mental episode where she has blocked out the ability to deal with the pain of mourning Storm or accepting what happened with Katie...this could be a hereditary thing that's manifested and could be addressed... |

Or, Beth is just jealous and upset that Donna is married to Eric...and the real kicker...she probably had an affair with Eric years after their college years...it could be that the only child she has with Stephen is Brooke, and the others are really Eric's! YEP! That would mean Donna is married to her dad, if that's true, and Beth is too sick to her stomach to admit her past infidelities...Hmmmm....   EWWW...that'd be a gross but interesting story line. Why do I think this story is a possibility on this sordid show? |

Too bad they could'nt get the real Beth back. This new Beth just looks too young and just too much like a movie star, to play the old Beth. Just my opinion. |

She looks to young to be Brooke mother when she looks as young as Brooke or younger. If Eric was once in love with Beth will Donna feels threaten by her present. Will Nick fall in love with the mother, since he has been to be with two out of three of the sisters. This would be a good story if we didn't have so much incest and Dumb Brooke living her life to please Ridge. Eric need to tell Ridge he will no longer allow him to dog his wife Donna. Ridge is an example of his mother lies that he was Eric's son for years, but yet he wants to benefit from two fathers.So he just need to keep his b##### mouth shout about Donna and her son. Will he hate Donna son because he is Donna'son and Black and that why he doesn't want her to go out with Marcus. |

There are too many secrets with these families, and it wouldn't surprise me at all that Beth had an on/off affair with Eric while she was married to Stephen. She and Eric were in love since college, and only separated with Stephanie's pregnancy (Ridge)--I think Beth married Stephen as a consolation prize, had Brooke, and may have gone back and forth with Eric... Storm in my opinion seemed more like Eric than Stephen, and either Beth feels guilt over not ever telling Storm or Eric the truth, or there may be something more insidious going on...Donna was born right after Storm (I think), so it could be that she too is Eric's daughter...I can see Katie as being Stephen's child... I don't know what to think about Beth---if it is a mental issue, then that could be an intriguing storyline--I mentioned earlier that Brooke had a similar episode years ago... Or, Beth could just be a cold blooded, lowdown, selfish woman that only cares about herself and wants to ONLY care about herself...her kids are grown, she doesn't have to raise them anymore, etc. Who knows with this family?

Honestly I don't think Donna is Eric's daughter. Imean its a soap and they do gross weirdo things but that is just too much... |

Beth has been replaced by an alien...who knows where the real beth is...! It's almost like she is living outside of her body - very robotic, distanced, fake almost - as if she has no idea what these people are talking about and doesn't care. |

I am so pleased that Beth has returned. I am also pleased that she makes her daughters look tired and old. Maybe that is what the writers want us to see. Maybe that is what Eric will see and will want to have his Bethie back. It will also be interesting if Nick will be attracted to/and will fall for her also.
